Excellent Movie, Good CollectionPosted .
Megafault is a fun disaster b-movie from The Asylum. Brittany Murphy is excellent in the lead, and this was one of the movie that started The Asylum's higher caliber (comparatively) special effects. Population: 2 (aka After Doomsday) is a bit more of mystery than a post-apocalyptic actioner. This is not an issue, as the lead is amazing, in 98% of all the scenes, that is important. Fire From Below is a goofy but fun Syfy movie starring Kevin Sorbo. He is enjoyable, and while the plot is standard as they come, the pacing is good. A Thousand Kisses Deep is sheer perfection. Dana Lustig's direction is elegant and dreamlike. The set design is amazing. The acting is incredible. The script is taut and smart. Everything about this movie is perfect. As for the collection itself- as one would expect, there are no special features on any of the movies, which is disappointing.as Megafault's standalone release does, and I would love to see a commentary and/ or making of for A Thousand Kisses Deep. The picture quality is excellent for Megafault and A Thousand Kisses Deep. Fire From Below has some grain, but is mostly clean. Population: 2 suffers from some ghosting and dark fades. However, the picture is overall quite good on each release.I would recommend this to a friend

Depends on your love of cheapie sci-fiPosted .
This one contains two SyFy-like knockoffs of more popular A-list films (Megafault, Fire Down Below), an interesting indie (Population 2), and an even more interesting UK feature (A Thousand Kisses Deep). I got it at BB for $7.99, and it was a 'worth-it' purchase for me. Not sure I'd recommend for anyone not interested in very low budget sci-fi dramas, or superfans of the actors (Brittany Murphy, Kevin Sorbo). No, I would not recommend this to a friend
