Q: Is this monitor 24" tall or wide
A: It can be rotated either tall or wide.
Q: Can this monitor be mounted to a wall similar to a picture hanging on a wall?
A: I do not think so looking at mine just now. I called customer service at Dell before purchasing this monitor and they were easy to connect to and accurate in the information on this product. I would call them.
