Q: Can I use for my car to find where it is?
A: Hello there, Great question! Tile is great for finding misplaced items and the things that matter most. Keep in mind that Tile is powered by Bluetooth technology as opposed to GPS. This means that it works within a certain range (100-400 feet) and is best reserved for non-moving items. For long distance tracking and moving items like your car, GPS is typically your best bet; however, GPS often has significant drawbacks such as cell service contracts, poor battery life, and price. Tile is a great alternative for tracking down lost items such as a crashed drone or keys that have been dropped off of a forest trail. For any lost items that are out of range, you can also utilize the power of our Tile Community to help update it's location. So far, we've shipped over 25 million Tiles, so there's bound to be someone to update the whereabouts of your Tile! Q: Am i able ro locate tiles with my phone.
A: Yes you download an app to pick which tile you want to find. The tiles also have a button on them to make your phone play a sound if you don’t know where your phone is.
Q: Does this require a monthly fee
A: Nope!
Q: Can a tile be associated with more than one mobile device or is it a 1 tile to 1 device setup?
A: Yes, a tile can be associated with another account, in a sense that you can share this with as many people as you want. BUT that’s ONLY if you pay for the premium tile plan.
Q: can tile find my eye glasses
A: Only if you attach it to your eyeglasses, and that would really look strange. This is better for keys.
Q: How far can I be to locate my device?
A: It depends on what the tile is surrounded by, but you can get about 200+ feet when its in my wallet.
