Q: Can the hard drive be upgraded? If so, what is the maximum? Can the RAM be upgraded?
A: The RAM and storage on this laptop are upgradeable. This laptop supports two M.2 2280 solid-state drives. M.2 2280 solid-state drive (Interface type- PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe, up to 64 Gbps) is supported up to 8 TB.
A: This laptop is heavy, and the size is not good for travel size. However, it is a powerful laptop.
A: I would not purchase this laptop. I currently have had this laptop for 3 days. The thermal throttling and power management has made the I9 and graphics card useless. I am unable to running any video editing software or VMWare Workstation. The battery only will last beyond 4 hours if you throttle everything and use integrated graphics only. I you would like to render or doing anything process intensive you have to keep the laptop cooled using forced air. Another thing to consider is while running these programs the keyboard keys will become noticeably hot pretty fast from heat dissipation.
