    Tiny powerful camera

For the price, this dash cam is a really good value. The front and rear video quality is clear, and I like how small and lightweight the cameras are. The Wi-Fi also makes it easy to review and save clips. I do wish it included options for side cameras for even more coverage, but for the money, it’s a great setup.

The video quality is good and clear.

I’ve been using the Rexing C2 for a little while and so far, so good. Installation was pretty easy, and I like having both the front and rear cameras. The video quality is good and clear, especially during the day. I compared a few different dash cams before buying this one, and nothing over the top, but it does what I expected and has been easy to use.

    Inexpensive safety net

I bought this for my Jeep as I do a lot of travel with my family, and other drivers continue to get more and more reckless. So I purchased this as a way to have proof in case I get into an accident. The price was great, and the unit was very easy to setup

Questions & Answers

  • Can I connect this camera to Apple CarPlay so I can use the digital screen that’s already on the car?

No, you cannot connect the REXING C2 dash cam directly to Apple CarPlay to view video on your car's factory digital screen, as CarPlay does not support external camera streaming. Instead, you can easily view, download, and manage all your footage on your smartphone by connecting to the dash cam's built-in Wi-Fi through the free REXING app. If you run into any issues setting up the wireless connection or need assistance with the app, please feel free to email our support team at care@rexingusa.com.

  • is the rear camera& the front also powered by twelve volt. Cigarette lighter, or does it have to be hardwire

For the REXING C2, whether you use the hardwire kit or the cigarette lighter charger, both power sources will power both the front and rear. The difference will be the features the hardwire kit provides, such as vibration or motion, depending on the hardwire kit. The cigarette lighter won't provide these parking mode features. Please email our REXING support team if you have more questions at care@rexingusa.com.

  • Does this require a 12v plug

Yes, the C2 only comes with the 12V car (cigarette lighter) charger to power the device. If you didn't want it powered through the 12V outlet, we would recommend the 360° hardwire kit to give you both parking monitor functions linked here: https://rexing.com/products/rexing-smart-hardwire-kit-with-360-motion-detection-13ft-cable-parking-monitor-low-voltage-protection-compatible-with-95-of-rexing-dash-cams?_pos=2&_sid=47e43e56a&_ss=r
