The monitor is easy to setup, attach the leg in to the main body, install 2 screws and attach the base plate to the leg and install 2 more screws. When first switched on, accessibility audio guidance is enabled but it speaks too fast, I thought I got a defective monitor. During the on screen setup process, you first select country then language then on the accessibility settings screen, you have the option to select "set up later" and it will turn off the audio guidance. Next you will provided options to continue either using the remote or the LG thinQ app. Using the LG thinQ app is so much easier than using the remote and I personally recommended it. Initially the setup won't continue at the connect to wifi step, it was due to my wifi router, I had to switch to a different wifi access point for the monitor to connect to the internet to continue the setup process. During setup, you can enable the "turn on via BT or wifi feature" and to launch the home page automatically or not. If you want to use this mainly as a pc monitor, you will want to immediately change the display setting. Either game mode or standard mode and turn sharpness all the way down to zero else the text from a PC will not be sharp. I've been using this 32-inch 4K monitor for a few days, and it has exceeded my expectations. The 4K resolution delivers incredibly sharp text and detailed images. Even though the text is pretty sharp but I can see the individual pixels in notepad app due to the size of the monitor. Words are still reorganizable when zoom out to 60%. Looking forward to 8K monitor in the future. The biggest advantage of the VA panel is its outstanding contrast. Blacks appear deep and rich, making movies and games look much more immersive. Colors are vibrant and vivid. However, being a VA panel, viewing angles aren't as wide as IPS displays, so colors shift slightly when viewed from the side which is a common characteristic of VA panels. But the technology has come a long way and it is not too bad now compare to the previous generation of VA panel. If you are wondering, the speaker is very loud which is good for video conferencing. When connected to pc via hdmi, it will automatically prompt you to connect to hdmi. The monitor feels well-built, and the stand is sturdy. Overall, this is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a large 4K display with impressive contrast, sharp image quality, and great value. Two things I thought could be better are that the menu system is too slow for my liking, it is comparable to those cheap digital TV from decade ago. And the back button on the remote is at the top left of the directional buttons. I am so used to the button being on the lower left but for this monitor, it is the Netflix button and I often press the wrong button and need to wait for the previous screen to reload.

The LG 32” 4K UHD Smart Monitor has been a great addition to my setup because it gives me the flexibility to use it as both a monitor and a TV. Setup was incredibly easy right out of the box. Everything was straightforward, and I had it up and running within minutes. I also appreciated how lightweight it is, which made it easy to move around and even easier to mount. I decided to mount mine in my office/game room and despite one small issue, the process itself was simple because the monitor isn’t overly heavy. The 4K picture quality is sharp, vibrant, and looks great whether I’m gaming, watching movies, browsing the web, or working. Colors are bright, text is crisp, and HDR10 makes supported content look even better. While it’s not intended to compete with high-refresh-rate gaming monitors, the 60Hz refresh rate and 5ms response time have been more than enough for the games I play. Gameplay feels smooth, responsive, and enjoyable on my gaming console. One of my favorite features is that it’s a true smart monitor. I don’t have to power on my console or plug in a separate streaming device just to watch something. I can launch Netflix and other built-in streaming apps directly from the monitor, making it function just like a smart TV. That convenience has been one of the biggest selling points for me because I can easily switch from gaming to watching a movie or TV show without changing inputs or devices. The built-in speakers are also better than I expected. While they aren’t a replacement for a dedicated sound system, they’re more than capable for everyday viewing and casual gaming, making this an excellent all-in-one solution. The only downside I found is the location of the power connection. Since the power cord plugs into the back of the monitor instead of being positioned lower or to the side, it can make wall mounting a little awkward. Depending on the type of mount you’re using, the cable sticks straight out and requires a bit more space behind the monitor than I would have liked. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s something to keep in mind if you plan on mounting it like I did. Overall, this monitor offers an excellent combination of picture quality, smart features, and versatility. Being able to use it as both a gaming monitor and a smart TV has helped simplify my setup while saving space. If you’re looking for a display that can handle gaming, streaming, and everyday use all in one package, this LG Smart Monitor is definitely worth considering.

Bought to use in a trade show booth. Tested with a USB drive and adjusted simple settings in the monitor menu. Confirmed that it will be easy for booth staff to get our loop video running with a few clicks using the remote. Good value

For the price it isn’t terrible, but it’s mediocre as both a TV and a monitor. As a Smart TV it underperforms: Wi‑Fi isn’t 5 GHz, and network issues show up especially with Disney+ and 4K HDR streaming. If you want a TV first and a monitor second, you’re better off with a proper Smart TV. Like other LG sets, it also pushes their streaming service and ads—those can be turned off in advanced settings.

Both this as a combination TV and PC monitor. It works great for both.
