Hard-bitten British detective Jack Frost (played by David Jason) investigates the crime-ridden underside of his town in this collection of made-for-TV movies based on the writings of crime novelist R.D. Wingfield. A Touch of Frost: Season 5 features four full-length episodes -- "Penny for the Guy," in which Frost must rescue a child being held at knife-point by kidnappers; "House Calls," in which Frost's competence is called into question as he investigates the case of a burglar with an unusual modius operandi; "True Confessions," in which cracking a murder case hinges on a confession a man has made to his priest; and "No Other Love," which finds Frost looking into two very diffent cases of domestic abuse.
