A: This laptop will run Adobe software, but, it is unknown whether this computer can be recommended for an artist.
Q: Will this work well with Intuit Quick books for payroll
A: Yes it work well with programs. With 8 gigs of RAM and 1 terabyte of hard drive it helps do the job. Also with a DVd drive included it makes a complete system, thank you.
Q: Does the Acer Aspire 5 intel core i5 have a slot for an SSD or can I change out the HDD for a SSD?
A: While this model does have an SSD slot, it is not considered user upgradeable because the lower case assembly and battery must be removed to access that slot.
A: There is a slot for an M.2 SSD drive on the mainboard but it is not considered user accessible. You would have to remove the bottom case assembly to access that slot.
Q: Is there a physical button on the laptop to turn on or off the WiFi signal?
A: The keystrokes to enable/disable wifi is FN+F3.
