A: Hello, According to the Dell Website, the Inspiron 5680 does support an M.2 drive, but it is a PCIe 3.0 based interface. The S50 Lite is a PCIe 4.0 drive, so you will not be able to reach the top rated speeds due to the last gen interface.
Q: is this SSD compatible with DELL Inspiron 17" 7000 7786 model? and further, what is warranty period?
A: 5 Year Warranty (In spec) Yes it will work in a DELL Inspiron 17" 7000 7786, however I would be surprised if that specific laptop could get the full 3800mb/s out of it.
