    I contemplated doing an outright purchase of Adobe Light room instead of the subscription for Adobe LightRoom and Photoshop. I am glad I did the subscription. I get both for a very fair price and any updates are immediately available. I take a lot of photos in raw and jpg, and this combo is perfect for that. Light room is very easy to use once you get to know it. Photoshop is a lot but has everything I need and I don't mind having more than not having what I need. Another subscription plus is the mobile side of things. I can download my photos to my tablet which has Light room mobile on it and it will sync with my laptop. Lightroom mobile is included with the subscription and I would be lost without it now. You can use mobile lightroom to edit your photos and send to friends or whatever. You can even upload to the Creative Cloud if you want to and is included with the subscription. Lightroom mobile is a lite version of the full product but has a lot of features and is extremely easy to use. I love using it to do quick touchups and then send to my wife so she can share with her friends and family. I live that I can work with my photos on my camera using Lightroom on my laptop. Simply connect the camera to the laptop, launch light room and do your thing. Overall, I am very happy with the subscription and will definitely renew when the time comes. Oh and I don't have to hunt for my software CD/DVD anymore. Simply download with Creative Cloud manager and have fun.

    I feel this is the best way for end users to purchase Adobe's products since they moved to the cloud subscription model. This card allows you to lock in your price for one year while avoiding being sucked into the forced auto-renew / price hiking horror that is well documented by various online sources. I do not mind paying the monthly fee and feel its a great value, however I do not want the strings attached when using a credit card with Adobe to subscribe. I had a bad experience when purchasing this from Best Buy, thus the 2 star rating. I ordered online and picked up in store. When I tried to use the card I received an error stating the vendor I purchased it from did not activate my key. I did not realize at the time that Best Buy needed to scan this product in order to ready it for use at the time of purchase. This is a security feature to prevent theft. I called Best Buy and was just told to call "Best Buy Corporate". After calling BB Corp I was transferred about a dozen times, then eventually shoved off to Adobe. Adobe was barley aware they sold subscriptions in this form and was little help. After keeping me on the phone for over 1 hour they told me they could escalate it to a senior staff member and I would need to wait up to 48 hours for a response. I went back to Best Buy and exchanged card. Second time worked flawlessly. I believe this was more Best Buy's fault than Adobe's since the Best Buy rep was heavily distracted at the time of purchase and most likely just forgot to scan the back of the card to activate it. Adobe does not make it easy to self manage an account. This is disappointing as most SaaS providers allow easy enrollment and cancellation of their services. The product is great - customer service (both parties), not so much.

    I paid $119.00 for this year subscription and when it was delivered to my house and I went to use the code on adobe/redeem. It said my card was invalid. I typed it in over and over again to make sure there were no mistakes. Still didn't work. So I took it to best buy to see if they could activate it and they said because I bought it on their website there was nothing they could do and to call Adobe. So I called Adobe. I gave them my email address I purchased it under and my order confirmation code. For some reason they could not pull up my order and said there was so such purchase. So I called best buy corporate and they said because it was a physical item. They could not help me. I will never order this product again online. I lost $119.00 because nobody could help me and my code doesn't work.

    I don't like renting my software

    Adobe is out of touch with it's software, instead of charging a decent low price, they charge to rent out their product with a monthly installments or a one year membership fee. This is all just to use their software and their cloud services. While the cloud is now the norm for most companies, Adobe still is out of touch with their consumer. I would love to pay for just the software for $100 alone but give me the option for the cloud. How about $5 a month just for 50gb of services and $20 for 1tb. So, I bought Photoshop and Lightroom because there's no other company that is comparable but I did buy Final Cut as an alternative. i still get updates from Apple and all for free. They're not afraid to give their customers what they need and want. If Adobe ever changes their business model then I will gladly change my score for the better. But for now it's a decent product that I still need to use.

    Have been a user of Adobe's products for quite some time. I generally like what they are doing, even though some support for newer technologies can be slow to release. That said, LR and PS continue to set the bar. For the license model, I know some absolutely refuse to accept that this subscription makes sense over traditional purchase, pay of upgrades business structure. For $10 a month, I am getting constant improvement and real, usable features released as they are ready. They don't have to wait for major package updates to push those or fixes to the user base. When you consider the costs of purchase for standalone copies of LR and PS, you were somewhere around $750 at retail. Upgrades were rarely free. And oh, by the way, you never actually owned that software anyway. Look at the terms...you are granted permission to use it. CC makes perfect sense to me and I recommend to everyone who asks.

    We have a plan with Adobe that allows us to use Lightroom & Photoshop on two machines: however, we cannot use either Lightroom or Photoshop while being used by the other. As a result, we purchased a separate plan for my wife's computer. We had to create a second email account in order to use it. It took a conference call over several hours with Adobe to get it functional. Had to provide details about the purchase, serial and code information, etc. Went through several Adobe Reps before I found one that understand what kind of help I needed; however, once the Rep understood it was smooth sailing though it did take several hours to fix. For this, I thank the Rep for sticking with me through this ordeal. Regardless of the ordeal, it;s worth the price ($120 annually) for my wife to have her on Adobe account. Would have given it a five if not for all the time I spent on the phone with Adobe (and the time spent trying to find a phone contact). Their community support is worthless. Simply put, Adobe is the best of the worst.

    First of all, I am not a subscribing type of person. I don’t like monthly cost for things and would rather buy things out right. That being said, you can’t beat this product. Having the updated version at all times and all of the cloud features, it’s just worth it. I am pretty new to light room and Photoshop but with the amount of tutorials and the hints that this program offers, I’m moving right along pretty quickly. If you’re on the fence and editing pictures weekly or monthly, don’t hesitate to buy this.

    as you must know for years adobe photoshop was 600 dollars and up….but now it all resides on a cloud and i was very hesitant to get something that was SOMEWHERE ELSE, i like things on my machine…well, it is on your machine, you download the program, but it's a lease, 100 for a year, not bad when i don't use it much, and spending 600 dollars at once is a lot…so i am so pleased with this, and am learning all the new features, which are INCREDIBLE, i am soooo happy with this purchase i cannot tell you.
