- A: AnswerThank you for inquiry. We strongly suggest that you visit our APC UPS Selector tool (https://www.apc.com/us/en/tools/ups_selector/) so you can properly verify the BE600M1 will be sufficient for your loads. As for plugging in a power strip, please make sure that it is not a Surge Protector that you will be using. This FAQ will explain more: https://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA158852/. Rather than a typical power strip, we strongly recommend in using a Rack PDU (Power Distribution Unit) like the AP9562. With this, current is equally distributed on every outlet. Should you need further assistance, do not hesitate to contact us at https://www.apc.com/us/en/support/
