A: This phone is sold Unlocked by Apple themselves, Best Buy at this time doesn’t sell an Unlocked version. The only unlocked iPhone that they sell is the iPhone SE2.
A: Hello, You can trade your phone in but it will be with Best Buy and what they offer for a trade in not AT&T. Go on to BB website and do a trade in calculation to see what you could get. Do the trade in first and use the gift card they give you on your phone purchase. If you want to do the trade in via AT&T you can mail it in but the trade in value will be different.
Q: if i chose att can i take it to cricket does it work
A: No. If you choose AT&T, it is carrier locked. Carrier locked means that you can only use it on that carrier's network. Best buy does not have an unlocked option. If you buy directly from Apple (https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-iphone/iphone-12) you can buy the unlocked phone for $30 more than regular price. (That's the same price as from Cricket)
