Whatever Best Buy says is the current price of this phone, when you purchase it, they will split it over 24 months on your Verizon bill. After a month or two, however, you have the freedom to pay it off completely through Verizon. Verizon will likely charge you a $30 upgrade fee (or similar) as a one-time payment. I've purchased two of these phones in 2018 and this has been my experience purchasing through Best Buy and Verizon. Hope this helps!
