The SE 2 is a good upgrade and although it doesn't have all the amenities of a iphone 11 it is sufficient for a good overall phone. It is a bit slippery so a case is highly recommended.
I don't care for the new sequence of re-booting the phone, but that has nothing to do with the phone as it does with Apple.
Because of the high cost to replace a battery that was exploding in my IPhone 7 with no warranty, I decided to purchase the IPhone SE per the sales person's advice, It had enough GBs and it was the same exact size etc so I didn't have to buy anything extra for it and it has a 2 year warranty. The sales person was very helpful in transferring my information from my old phone to my new one also. I had a choice to go to AT&T to buy the same phone but I prefer to do business with Best Buy.
Phone is definitely on the smaller size and can be annoying to get used to swiping from the bottom up rather than top down if your used to that. Keyboard feels like it’s made for folks with smaller hands but overall it feels like what I would want from a decent iPhone.
I had purchased this same phone late last week, and the ear speaker had went out in two days, I took it in to the location I had purchased from and I could not of had better service. The young man who helped me took care of everything in about 15 minutes gave me a brand new phone no questions asked and sent me out the door with a free screen protector for I had one on the old phone I’d had purchased last week. Thank you so much !
This phone is for my sister who is 74 with an iPhone 7plus. Thankful that Apple has this offer for a new phone with a home button and very minimal change. It is the most smooth transition she could ever have to upgrade. The smaller screen gave us concern at first, but she is very happy with it overall
I needed to replace my 8 and found this SE 2nd Gen was the same size and had all the same features and was hundreds cheaper that going with a 10 or higher. I can use all the same accessories I had with the 8, so that was a big plus for me.
My old iPhone 5 couldn't run the necessary iOS version for my new Arlo wi-fi doorbell/camera - so it was time for an upgrade. I didn't want a phone that would not fit in my pants pocket, or that costs big $$. The SE readily fit my needs and has far more features than I'll ever use - so got my money's worth.

Apple iPhone SE review (2020): Great phone, even better price
Building a $400 phone is an exercise in compromise, and the iPhone SE certainly has its share. Despite that, Apple's smallest, cheapest smartphone offers tremendous performance for the price. It won't make sense for everyone, but people who valueFull Review

The iPhone SE (2020) Review: A Reinvigorated Classic
Apple's latest iPhone SE is being released today, and it's certainly going to make a big impact on the market, for the simple reason that this is a $399 iPhone. We've had the new phone for a mere 24 hours, but we've been able to quickly put theFull Review
A:AnswerSame here. Looks. Like some kinda scheme..... They not wanting people to just buy the phone they wanna profit by making you sign up for service. A lot of people are just buying this for a alternate phone since it's kinda "cheap"
A:AnswerYou can do it yourself. I ordered the phone via mail, it came to my house with the SIM card. I used my old sim and put it in the new phone and activated it. Then I did the phone transfer the Apple has built I. Where you just place the phones next to each other and it transfer the entire phone wirelessly

so the answer is yes.
A:AnswerI’m assuming you mean you don’t remember your passcode. I think during setup you needed to set one up the same time you set up for your fingerprint. You could try wiping the button to be sure it can see your finger print. I’m assuming you’re using the correct finger and didn’t confuse with a different finger you may have used for a different device. If you were able to skip past setting up a pass code, you could try 4 or 6 zeroes. The last thing aside from totally resetting your phone is to try turning it off, waiting a minute, then back on. If none of that works, seek professional help from Best Buy Geek Squad.
