      I normally do not buy extended service for anything. But I had never had an Apple computer before so I bought this service for tech support. I have called them many times with what a lot of people would think of as stupid questions and have never been treated like I'm stupid. Everyone I have spoken to has been super nice and super helpful. They have had to call me back on some problems and they have always called me when they said they would. If every company had service techs like they have , no one would ever get a bad review. As far as tech service, this was the best money I have ever spent.

      I got a 5 star resolution but not without issues. At the low of my service experience we were at a 3 star rating but Apple never gave up. Customer service rep after customer service rep but they got me the items needed to resolve my issue and get all items transferred and up and running. Since Apple didn't give up I balanced the 3 star low with the 5 star outcome to give them the 4 stars. I have dealt with other companies customer service who could not resolve my issue, could not understand representative. Apple didn't give up until all was resolved. Better to have AppleCare then to be in need of it and not have it.

      I was hoping not to have to call and use support for my new IMac, but I called tonight for the first time with installation of the flash player and the help was awesome! I went online and entered my card code and within one minute I had a call from customer support for my apple device. The person was kind, very detailed in his help, unhurried, and answered other questions I had about my computer while helping me with my current issue. He went through multiple steps with me to find a solution. He even went onto his own device to see if he could help me. Overall an excellent experience. I recommend buying the apple care plan!!!

      I never buy warranty plans, but I did for my iMAC. It's such a critical piece of machinery in my everyday life that if it goes out, I want to know I can take it to the store and have it fixed w/o hassle. I'm a little biased since my last iMAC had 3 separate issues that needed to be addressed -- luckily I had apple care and it was a breeze. Most people that buy it will never use it, but since it helped so much last time I decided to "invest" in the protection for this iMAC as well. I'm pretty much opposed to buying anything like this for any other product, including my Mac Book Airs and other apple products.

      I HIGHLY recommend getting the AppleCare protection plan! Apple has top notch customer service and they stand by their product. I had a few issues when I first got the computer (one was "user error") and when I get on the computer and go the the applecare web page...I type in my problem, and click "I want a call now" and I literally get a call NOW! They are hugely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The advisor solved both my problems happily and quickly. We LOVE Apple customer service! Buying the Apple Care protection plan is Totally worth it!!

      purchased the 3 year protection plan the same time as my iMac-27, during set-up I had a few questions so I called the "pros", wait time for a real person was long, once she finally came on the line it seemed she knew less than I did, failing to resolve my issue she transfered me to her supervisor, This person, I believe Nick was his name, informed me that my problem could not be solved, I informed Nick that I would then return my new iMac but thanked him for trying, Afterwords I resolved my dilemma without their help, Was very disappointed with their knowledge.

      If I could give this place a 0 I would.. Waste of time to bring anything to be fixed here they are incompetent!!!!!!!. Brought my iMac in to be repaired twice, and both times it came home and did the very thing I sent it in to be repaired for.. A friend recommended YouTube to see how to fix my problems and I did the repairs myself. could have saved myself a lot of money knowing this first.. As my friend said anything you need to know is on YouTube.

      We bought a Macbook Pro a few months ago and purchased the AppleCare for it since it was the first Mac either me or my husband had worked on. We have used the AppleCare many times since this computer was so new for us. Each time we call we have a pleasant and knowledgeable person to help us. I was so impressed with Apple that I just replaced my desktop with the IMac and I purchased Applecare for that computer also. It has been quite a transition but AppleCare has made it a lot easier for a couple of seniors and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
