I HIGHLY recommend getting the AppleCare protection plan! Apple has top notch customer service and they stand by their product. I had a few issues when I first got the computer (one was "user error") and when I get on the computer and go the the applecare web page...I type in my problem, and click "I want a call now" and I literally get a call NOW! They are hugely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The advisor solved both my problems happily and quickly. We LOVE Apple customer service! Buying the Apple Care protection plan is Totally worth it!!

I hope i never will have to use my extended warranty but when you spend 2k on a desktop it's a must i have always bought extended warranties,you never know a year down the road just past factory warranty boom down it goes fixing it or replacing it with money you might not have this covers everything fixed or replaced and with a 7&9 year olds smart money spent,i have friends that have had to use their extended warranties and loved how great it is.

Easy to use and it's better to be safe than sorry..

I have had a number of Apple products-this is my second iMac-and although have never had a problem with any of the products, it seemed to make good sense to have the peace of mind of a protection plan. After investing a few thousand dollars in equipment, the few buck for the plan was insignificant. Well worth it.

Bought a new iMac about a month ago and also purchased a 3 yr. Apple extended warranty. I called Apple support on two occasions with technical questions. Each time I got through to a knowledgeable, courteous technician who sounded like a native English language speaker in less than four minutes.

Apple has always had excellent customer service, and Applecare takes it to the next level with their extended protection plan. I have had it for several computers over the years, and on the rare occasion I have needed it I have been pleased with the level of service.

The apple support you receive to help with questions about how to use / applications is a must have for the not so tech savvy user. That alone is worth the purchase not to mention the piece of mind that if something goes bad, it will be taken care of.

This warranty is virtually a must have for any Apple product that it applies to...Any Apple electronic device(computer/iphone/etc) is naturally very expensive and could cost one a fortune to replace or repair it if it should become damaged or unusable

A must to protect your apple purchase. Apple stands by their products and the Apple care is peace of mind for your product. You get phone or online support and if there is something wrong with your product they take care of it

Some warranties are good, but most are garbage. Since I only just bought the machine, I haven't had to use it yet. But with a costly device, you almost to have to get it. You really can't take the chance without one. But don't make the mistake I did, always RE-up the warranty when you can. Policies changed and I couldn't for my old machine, and it died 1 month after the warranty expired.

This 3 year warranty also includes toll free phone tech support on the covered item for the duration of the warranty. It's always paid off for me on any Apple product. I wouldn't be without it. Highly recommend!!

I think this is excellent to have. I would never buy an apple product without Apple care. It would be like driving a car without insurance... Because accidents and it is nice to know you are covered.

I am somewhat pleased with the tech support I receive from Applecare. It is nice to know that someone is available when you need assistance however when I called the wait time was extremely long.

Seemed like a no brainer to protect what I was buying. This will cover anything that may happen to my mac station! I just hope if anything goes wrong it is a quick and easy process to fix.

Never leave the store without buying AppleCare for your Apple products, it's always worth the peace of mind knowing that your precious items are covered under the extended warranty.

I normally do not buy extended service for anything. But I had never had an Apple computer before so I bought this service for tech support. I have called them many times with what a lot of people would think of as stupid questions and have never been treated like I'm stupid. Everyone I have spoken to has been super nice and super helpful. They have had to call me back on some problems and they have always called me when they said they would. If every company had service techs like they have , no one would ever get a bad review. As far as tech service, this was the best money I have ever spent.

I was hoping not to have to call and use support for my new IMac, but I called tonight for the first time with installation of the flash player and the help was awesome! I went online and entered my card code and within one minute I had a call from customer support for my apple device. The person was kind, very detailed in his help, unhurried, and answered other questions I had about my computer while helping me with my current issue. He went through multiple steps with me to find a solution. He even went onto his own device to see if he could help me. Overall an excellent experience. I recommend buying the apple care plan!!!

I buy extended protection on all my expensive purchases and this was a no brainer. It helps me sleep at night knowing my imac is protected against anything i thorw at it.

I never buy warranty plans, but I did for my iMAC. It's such a critical piece of machinery in my everyday life that if it goes out, I want to know I can take it to the store and have it fixed w/o hassle. I'm a little biased since my last iMAC had 3 separate issues that needed to be addressed -- luckily I had apple care and it was a breeze. Most people that buy it will never use it, but since it helped so much last time I decided to "invest" in the protection for this iMAC as well. I'm pretty much opposed to buying anything like this for any other product, including my Mac Book Airs and other apple products.

I always buy Apple Care protection for my Apple products. It's good to have peace of mind and everyone I've ever worked with at Apple has been helpful and friendly.
