The camera delivered sharp 1080p video with excellent color quality in testing. Black-and-white night video showed good contrast and crisp image detail. Motion alerts were accurate and arrived quickly, and the privacy shield worked as intended.

Works as it should. We use it for an indoor cam for our puppy. It needs to be plugged in vs battery power but I actually prefer that since the camera is in a corner and hard to reach. Recommended for the price. Also works with your existing Arlo account and app.

Privacy Shield: The privacy shield is a significant advantage for an indoor camera, providing peace of mind. The ability to remotely command the camera to close its shutter via the app creates a physical barrier, ensuring privacy. The option to schedule when the privacy shield should be opened or closed adds to its versatility. App Functionality: While the app is functional, there is room for improvement. Occasional lagging and connectivity issues to the live feed can be frustrating, impacting the user experience. The simultaneous playback of live and recorded feeds when reviewing recordings is an odd behavior that could use correction.
