Handle school or office work with this ASUS VivoBook laptop. An AMD Ryzen 7 processor and 8GB of RAM handle web browsing and light gaming, while the 1TB SSD quickly loads programs and large documents. This ASUS VivoBook laptop has a 15.6-inch Full HD display for vivid visuals while streaming content, and the built-in USB and HDMI ports allow simple expansion.
Q: Are you able to expand the RAM memory?
A: Yes. There is one extra slot for another 8 GB RAM. I bought a Crucial CT8G4SFS832A for this. Chose that brand because the existing soldered RAM is by Micron Technology, which is the parent company of Crucial, and that particular model because all the specs match the existing RAM's specs. Upgrading was easy, and, as expected, it works.
A: Yes. The keyboard is back-lit.
Q: Can I change out the ram to have, lets say 2 12GB ram cards or does this laptop have a ram cap?
A: Yes you can up to 16GB total. It has 8GB soldered onto it and you can add another 8GB stick
Q: Does this PC not have discrete GPU? Could it still be used for playing games like Aura Kingdom?
A: The Graphics are built into this CPU. Graphics Fequency is 1600MHz, Graphic core count is 7. Here is a link to AMD's description page of the CPU with the graphics specs. I own this laptop. I don't do heavy gaming on it but have run photoshop without issue. I did upgrade my ram to 16GB out of the box. https://www.amd.com/en/products/apu/amd-ryzen-7-4700u
