Great investment for outdoor Wi-Fi coverage
Great router than seamless integrates with my Asus AiMesh consisting of Asus GT-BE98 Pro main node and Asus RT-BE 96U x 2 satellite nodes. Total 4 satellite nodes including this ZenWi-Fi BD5 BE5000. I can now place my Sonos Portable outdoor speaker’s anywhere in my yard without dropping the Wi-Fi connection. Works great to have the same tunes playing inside and outside for cook outs and general entertainment. A wired backhaul is best to allow the full range coverage of both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands. All mounting hardware is included. Not sure how well this router would integrate with another brand router as an access point. Highly recommend this router if you alrady have an Asus AiMesh router installed.

Excellent choice for outdoor coverage
Works better than expected. Covers my 2 acer property perfectly! Used as a node from my AX86U with outdoor cat 6 has backhaul. Will be adding a 2nd inside my shop soon!

Exactly what I needed - An Outdoor Router / AP
This is the 2nd one purchased, use it part of the ASUS AI mesh network at my dad's property. Wifi is critical at his property since cell phone service is marginal at best and he uses WifI for Wifi calling. Have one setup on the outside of the barn that covers the pond area and can get strong signal quite a long ways away (250 - 300 feet outdoors) connected to the main router via Ethernet.
