    The BedJet 3 19E8 ~ I'M IN LOVE!

I will start off by admitting I didn't think I would like this BedJet 3 as I wondered how it could possibly work and was worried about fan noise. Boy was I ever wrong! Received and proceeded to put it together which was a breeze. Everything clicked together easily with no tools needed. I also received the remote control and a Queen Single Zone double thickness sheet, which by the way is fabulous! The material is amazing and such high quality. 100% cotton. I love the feel against my skin and it's perfect for inserting the hose grip inside to gently caress my body with warm or cool air. It washes up beautifully too. Buying the sheet is optional but I highly recommend it. This does only connect to 2.4 Ghz WiFi and it connected immediately to the Smart Remote phone app. Works flawlessly. Haven't had a dropped signal yet. As my adjustable bed is high off the floor the BedJet fit underneath without issue. There are 3 openings on the sheet ~ one on each side and at center bottom. Because I use a heel rest pillow at the foot I opted to place the hose on my left side. It slips into the opening and then you push the plastic snaps together which seals the air flow in towards you. There are also 2 clips on the hose grip which keep the sheet in place too. I did a test run of the fan loudness. I found if I set it between 35-45% on either heat or cool the sound level was perfect and lulls me right to sleep. I usually have to listen to sleep programs but no more. I am snoozing within 5 or 10 minutes max now. I did put the speed at 100% and it was fun to watch my quilt balloon up but the noise was a bit much for my sensitive ears. Remember you can adjust the fan speed till the level agrees with YOU so don't let the fear of a possible loud fan noise keep you from this purchase. It can be fixed with touches of a button! On the Smart Remote app (and also on the remote) you'll see the Biorythm which includes timed intervals of HEAT, COOL or OFF as you make a profile to save for the night. The DRY setting mode I honestly haven't felt a need to try. I will mention that the ceramic heating element can be set between 72-104 degrees and the lowest on the convection cooling is 66 degrees. On the app the settings are OFF, TURBO, HEAT, COOL, DRY and EXT-HEAT. There's an Auto-Shutoff Timer, Biorythm setting, Save and the 3 empty memory slots across the bottom for presets. The fan speed percentage is on the center left and on the right is where you set the temperature plus see the actual temperature in your bed. The 3 horizontal lines on the upper right corner will take you to 9 different adjustments and also shows the versions of the app, BedJet 3 and remote. This is where you update your firmware too. As I live in Wisconsin it's been chilly but we recently had 2 days/nights of warm weather being in the mid 80's so I was able to truly test out the cooling feature. Wow! I didn't put my central air on and the room was at about 80 degrees. Well I set it up for COOL at 35% speed/68 degrees and my goodness what a relief ~ it felt wonderful. I slept like a baby. Now the last couple nights we are back in the 30's and gosh do I adore that heat! I usually keep it at about 45% fan speed and 92 degrees ~ simply perfect for me. I'll turn on the TURBO mode which runs for 10 minutes then shuts off. It's a preheat feature and my bed is toasty warm when I crawl in. The unit comes with a 2 year warranty which is a plus. I had a couple questions so called BedJet directly and spoke with the nicest customer care rep right there in Rhode Island. That's right ~ no robots or folks I couldn't understand. This company truly cares about people who buy their products. I was impressed with his information and kindness. I must say the last 4 nights I've literally had the best sleeps of my life. No tossing, turning, sweating, freezing ~ just blissful, comfortable sleep. I wake up feeling so refreshed and now I realize how badly I was sleeping before. I, like some other reviewers, never want to be without the BedJet!! This is a "rest of my life" purchase and if ever needed it will be immediately replaced. If you're reading this review you must be interested in one of these. I can say it's worth every dollar and many many more. You deserve a great nights sleep so JUST BUY IT! I love mine and so will you!

Great For Hot Sleepers, Get The Sheets!

The BedJet 3 is a climate control system for the place you spend the most time in, your bed. It’s not really an air conditioner, because it can’t cool beyond a certain temperature, and it includes the ability to also heat up your bed as well. For this review, I received the BedJet 3 core system and a Twin XL sized cooling sheet. I’ll be reviewing how they both work and if this system is worth the price and set up. Installation: Installation is pretty easy. Assembling the hose and finding a place for the actual unit will be the hardest part. I was able to sneak the unit underneath my adjustable bed, but some people may to find a place around the bed to place it. Yes, it needs electricity, so be sure to plan for that as well, since the included cord isn’t very long. Finding the right spot for the vent that will be blowing the cold or hot air under your covers is the important part here. It should be somewhere that you won’t be touching and that will allow you to get in and out of bed without hitting it. I chose to but it on the end of the bed and ended up having to use a bungee cord to really secure it, as the included brackets are not that sturdy. If you have a higher than usual bed, be sure to ask for the extension pieces, as they’ll send them out to you as well. Usage/Operation: The BedJet remote control makes the unit fairly easy to use, with only a few settings that you’ll probably want to look up and make sure you understand correctly. The physical remote is backlit, and I prefer it over the phone app as it lets you control the unit by touch, and you won’t be distracted in the middle of the night by your phone. The unit itself heavily relies on having an ideal setup for your bedsheets, which isn’t always the case, so I do whole heartily recommend investing in the custom cooling sheets that are available as they are a game changer. The sheets have a place to attach the exhaust vent for the unit and allow the air to travel within both layers of the sheet. This allows the cool air sheet, filled with air, to reach every part of your body instead of just your lower body. I can’t recommend the sheet enough, as using the BedJet without the sheet wasn’t nearly as nice of an experience. I have central air conditioning in my home, but the bedroom is at the end of the run and always runs a little colder or hotter depending on the season. Taking that into account, the BedJet does a great job at cooling be down during warmer nights and gets the bed super toasty now that the nights are getting a little cooler. If you have a window AC in your bedroom or central air, then I think the system will impress you, but this is not a replacement for cooling down your bed in a sweltering room. Noise/Maintenance/Other: The BedJet 3 is a quiet system, but it can definitely be heard when first warming up or cooling down. Once you have a set temperature, though, it’s not going to interrupt most people’s sleep. The unit does have a little filter that you should probably clean out every few months, and the cooling sheet is machine washable as well. Pros: Effective temperature control: The system cools and heats your bed pretty efficiently and without a lot of fuss or noise. Easy to use: The remote allows for easy operation of the BedJet, even in the middle of the night. Quiet operation: The unit is fairly quiet Cons: Price: The BedJet 3 is expensive, there’s no way around this elephant in the room. Bulky Hose: The unit’s hose is pretty large, and finicky to secure. Overall Impressions: The BedJet 3 is a complete climate control system for your bed, but keep your expectations in check, as it’s not a replacement for a room that doesn’t have heat or air conditioning already. The system is easy to use, fairly easy to install and requires very little maintenance. BedJet stands behind their products with a 2-year warranty and fantastic customer support as well.

Like sleeping with a cold cloud! I love it!

As someone who basically needs to be cold to have a great night sleep, I was so excited to give the BedJet a try. TLDR; It's amazing and I LOVE it! With the BedJet system you can use your own sheet/blanket or in my case, get the Cloud Sheet which is optional. In the box comes with the BedJet system itself, a cool remote with batteries, instruction booklet and all the various items to set up the tubing to the bed. Installation was pretty simple and straightforward and only took me about 20 minutes to get it all set up. I have a queen bed with a pillowtop mattress and was initially worried about the clamp for the air and that it wouldn't reach the top of the pillowtop. My worries were quickly dismissed as it has more than enough little extensions to clear it. Now I opted to use the Cloud Sheet instead of just shooting the air directly under my blanket. Trust me, it is worth it. The sheet is like 2 sheets in 1 and there are 3 places you can stick the air hose into to inflate the sheet with your preferred temp air. Once everything was installed according to the instruction manual, I used the included remote and fired it right up. 1st time it pushes the fan to 100% speed but I found for me 75% was more than enough. It literally injected air into the sheet and turned it into a cloud. Even with my blanket on top, it barely weighed it down. It's a good thing because you want your air everywhere like me. I tried the heat option 1st as winter is closing in and nights have been low 60s and it kept me toasty when I was trying it out. As I mentioned previously I prefer the cold and set it to 66 (coldest it gets). I don't think I have been more comfy at night falling asleep fast and waking up feeling refreshed in a long time. When I am ready to head to bed, I use the remote to turn it on and in under 1 minute, the sheet is full of cool air. In my opinion, there are 2 people who probably won't benefit from the awesome BedJet system: 1st is light sleepers. If you are sensitive to noise, this might keep you up at night. As is doesn't bother me, I would say it has the same noise lvl (@ 75%) as a portable AC system. Higher the fan speed, the louder the noise. I have mine under my bed on tile and I have gotten used to it. 2nd is people who need weighted blankets to fall asleep. Those blankets will defeat the purpose of the BedJet and restrict airflow to basically non-existent levels. If you don't fall into those 2 types of people and need to be hot or cold, the BedJet system is amazing and I cannot recommend it enough to people.
