Q: Why on earth does it have a "glutenfree" button? Going too far!
A: Hello paddypoo, thank you for your question and your interest in our products. Gluten-free bread requires the right conditions to toast. Many gluten-free breads are more dense than regular bread – and a regular “toast” setting means crispy on the outside and cool/frozen on the inside – then, by the time it’s toasted throughout – edges are burnt. The gluten free setting toasts dense gluten-free slices longer and at a lower temperature so it heats them through without burning them on the outside. I hope this helps. Best regards. Q: Why is there a gluten free button??? Does this make it a gluten free toaster?
A: Gluten free bread toasts differently than bread made with gluten. The amount of heat and the length of time toasting changes with gluten free goods.
Q: How does THIN sliced bread work? Does it evenly toast or flop over to the side due to the thinness?
A: Hello, thank you for reaching out. The bread guide (metal pieces that closes together) shuts to about 3/4”. If bread is thinner, it would not be as enclosed but still get a decent toast distribution just not ideal. Hope this helps. The BELLA Team.
