they should have paperless GC so one can email it to the recepient rather then US mail. Second, Best Buy allowed me to send an email to the recipient in advance of them receiving it. The problem is that the email did not tell the person the purpose of the email. the recipient got it and had to contact me to ask why they received an email from Best Buy.

Gift card is great. Customer service was great when the first card did not arrive. They sent another one and it arrived yesterday. It took six days to arrive in Alaska.

I sent a $50 Best Buy gift card to my son for his birthday, but he was less than appreciative, stating that he did not like to do business with Best Buy, as the store did not sell anything in which he was interested. I always figured he could at least get a CD or a DVD, but this option did not seem to appeal to him

Gift cards are great. I just wish that it could be an e-gift card. I think that it is ridiculous that Best Buy, of all people, still sends them through snail mail.

It is quite easy to go to bestbuy.com and order a gift card to be sent directly to the gift recipient. No issues, gift card mailed directly to the birthday boy, easy as pie!
