A: Hi, Blueair Blue Purifiers are designed to filter pollutants and particles and also does well with light smoke and cooking odors. For stronger odor removal we suggest models with activated-carbon filters such as the Blue Pure 211+ and 211+ Auto.
Q: Do the purifier needs to be connected to the wall power outlet or to the USB?
A: The Blueair 311 has a permanent power cord to be plugged into a wall power outlet. It will not work with a USB.
Q: Does it make loud noise while working?
A: Hi Nita, all of our air purifiers are "whisper silent" on their lowest setting. The 311 Auto has a sound level range of 23 dB(A) on its lowest setting to 53 dB(A) on its highest setting.
