Q: what ia the difference between 800 vs 500 series other than aesthetics. Can uou put any size magnetic pan on those burners ?

Here are the features for all three: Benchmark - FlexInduction Element which combines 2 cooking zones into one larger one, 11" Cooking Zone offers 3700 W of power, PowerMove divides FlexInduction into 3 preset zones, Home Connect remotely monitor your cooktop, Speed Boost adds more power to speed up cooking process, Auto Chef regulates temperature continually during frying and adjusts them. 800 Series - Auto Chef, Home Connect, Hood Control allows you to control your Bosch ventilation through Home Connect, Precise Select Control, Framed and Frameless Options. 500 Series - 11" Cooking Zone, 17 Power Levels, Each cooking Zone has an independent countdown timer, SpeedBoost. The size of the pan used should match the size of the burner.

Q: what is difference between benchmark and no benchmark?

A: Hi 56789, thank you for your question. Benchmark is a Series Designation. It is the next in the Series after our 800 Models with additional features.

Q: What are the cut out measurements for this model?

A: According to the installation instructions for this model, the cutout width should be between 28 3/4" - 28 7/8" (731mm - 734mm) and the cutout depth should be between 19 7/8" - 20" (505mm - 508mm). There should be a minimum of 2" (51mm) of countertop at the back and 2 1/4" (57mm) of countertop at the front.
