Bosch - Integra 500 Series 24" Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher - Stainless-Steel

We purchased this product to replace a high-end Samsung product which was problematic from the get go. We thought its problems were symtomatic of all washers given the newer high efficiency designs. It had no heating element and the dishes always came out wet no matter what was suggested from the manufacturer or other owners. It also struggled with washing effectively. We found ourselves always washing the dishes first manually in order to get satisfactory results. Eventually some parts had to be replaced within a year of purchase. The manufacturer OK'd a replacement and we applied the credit to buying this unit. We wanted a reputable name and a handle. So far we are very pleased. It runs quietly and does an excellent job cleaning dishes using a liquid cleaner (Electrasol). Dried on food has not be a problem to date. There is no element yet dishes come out nice and dry! Best Buy's people did a excellent removal and install. Only negative is you have to open the door slightly to turn it off when done, Best Buy also matched a lower competing price.

This is a wonderful dishwasher. Aesthetically beautiful, extremely quiet, awesome performance. Dishes come out sparkling. Love how adjustable the racks are. Highly recommended.

We bought all new appliances for our kitchen. When we spoke to the WONDERFUL sales person at Best Buy we told her that the one thing we wanted to splurge on was the dishwasher. I wanted a dishwasher so awesome that it did not matter if the dishes were rinsed or not. We came home with a Samsung. It was beautiful and very quiet. It cleaned well...but not AMAZINGLY, like I wanted. So...we exchanged it for the Bosch. The bosch was alot more expensive, so naturally we thought it must perform better...WRONG! The bosch was no better then the OLD one we had before the Samsung. Needless to say we are going through the trouble of exchanging it back to the Samsung. Evidently the kind of dishwasher I have in mind either no longer exists, is out of my price range...or this terrible "enery efficient" junk is lowering the water pressure and none of them will perform as they should. I would NOT suggest spending the money on this Bosch when one can get the Samsung for less and have cleaner dishes in an equally quiet machine. Oh...btw...the Bosch has a beep to alert you that the cleaning cycle is over and it does not shut up until you open the door or press "off." Plus...the Samsung is MUCH prettier!!! I can't wait to get it back home. lol!
