BOSS Audio Systems BE7ACP-SD oversized 7” Capacitive Touchscreen features a display that extends out from the dash to resemble a “floating” head unit. Enjoy a full-sized, double-din touchscreen that installs in a single-din space, which allows for no cutting or modifying your existing dash in most applications. The sturdy mount allows the ability to tilt, turn, and pivot the display for optimal screen visibility while safely driving. Use your smartphone for access to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto for the most up-to-date infotainment technology that fits your lifestyle, including hands-free Bluetooth, navigation, audio, messages, voice command and so much more. The large screen is perfect to add front and/or rear cameras for increased driving safety (cameras sold separately). Keep your hands on the wheel and retain steering wheel controls by adding a vehicle-specific harness (harness sold separately). Options, features, aesthetics, safety, and easy installation…the BOSS Audio Systems BE7ACP-SD has it all.
A: The Installation Labor is free. But you still have to pay for the installation Materials. Which is usually the Dash mount kit, wiring harness adapters, and anything else the would make the installation work. Hope that help. it looks like nice head unit. Im looking to getting one myself someday.
Q: Can you connect a backup camera to this product ?
A: Yes, it has a rear camera output as well as rear camera power… It also has front camera capability
A: Yes it is easily removed be pressing two buttons simultaneously.
A: Yes, it is a single din install so will fit in any stick radio space single din or larger. We have three vehicles installed with them in various screen sizes. Apple car play and Android auto, Does not come with XM installed though Best buy says it does and gives a free 6 month access, we never got it. Back up camera, On some models you can have two cameras installed
Q: Does this unit have hd radio?
A: Yes. Part of the reason we upgraded the Toyota radio was interference the HID head lights caused the stock radio, the Boss head unit not only has HD reception, it also has high quality insulation/ shielding on the antenna circuit and does not accept interference from the HD headlight ( frequency ommited) *You can switch between HD and local broadcast via the tuch screen interface *
Q: How far does the screen stick out from the unit?
A: A couple of inches. It was not what we expected.
A: If I recall correctly, you will need an adapter and interface module. iDatalink has them. Part #: KIT-JHC1 and ADS-MRR respectively. However, you will still lose some functions. so in come the big oof..... infotainment makes a plug and play kit C-UAQ-1 + C-HUB-WK... It's $2200..... Yeah, Chrysler kinda sucks in that regard as the uconnect systems are proprietary and tied in with just about everything. THAT BEING SAID, Motorola just dropped a wireless Android Auto adapter that's plug and play. If you're just going for the built in amp on this BOSS unit, don't bother. The uconnect 4C has a better internal amp.
Q: Does this come with a backup camera? Do they install a backup camera with this
A: No it does not have a back up camera included. If you purchase one separately it can be used to display the camera image.
