Wonderful little scanner!
I love this little scanner! I originally wanted a battery powered one, but this is so simple! It just plugs in via usb to your computer and that powers it...practically wireless. My only complaints are: 1. that the glass gets dirty and you have to clean it more often than I'd like. 2. Smaller pieces of paper (like some receipts) won't go through it, but I got a few carrier sheets and it works like a charm!

Great scanner - nice compact size
I really like Brother products. Finally upgraded my flatbed scanner with a compact portable scanner. Brother DS-740D scanner has some different scanning options, so it took a little time to try them out. Duplex feature is great if you are scanning photos with written comments on back. You can scan two images - first being the photo and the second being the back of the photo.

Simple to operate, scans fast!
The scanner on my printer just took forever to operate, and I’m doing more scanning these days, so was looking for something better. Well, this is it. Small desk footprint, simple to set up and operate, and faster than heck. USB-3 I think. Speedy. Very happy with this model. Tried the one with Wifi first, too quirky and more complex. This is perfect.
