    • Downdraft Ventilation: false (This ventilation system, typically integrated right into the cooktop, pulls smoke and fumes downward in order to ventilate them away from the cooking area. If a range hood is not an option due to your cooktop location or you need more cabinet space above the cooking surface, downdraft ventilation will save space while ensuring smoke and odors are still being ventilated.)

  • Cooktop Features
    • Induction: true (Induction cooktops use magnetic currents to heat compatible cookware directly instead of warming the cooktop itself, which can allow for faster and more efficient cooking. There is also an added safety benefit because the surface begins to cool when cookware is removed.)
    • Cooktop Surface Type: Smoothtop (On electric cooktops, coil elements are typically more durable and tend to provide more evenly conducted heat than smoothtops. However, smoothtops may be easier to clean and have a distinctive streamlined appearance.)
    • Cooktop Surface Material: Ceramic, Glass
    • Pan Presence Sensor: true (Sensors detect when a pan comes into contact with the cooking surface and when it is removed. When a pan is removed, the cooktop will automatically shut off as a safety precaution.)
    • Pan Size Sensor: true (This feature adjusts the heated surface of the element to fit the cookware placed on top. This helps ensure optimal heat distribution and more evenly cooked foods.)
    • Bridge Element: true (This feature is an additional heating element located between two individual burners. When this is enabled, the individual burners and the bridge element act as one connected cooktop. This equal heat distribution on the cooktop surface helps accommodate larger cookware, such as roaster pans or griddles.)
    • Specialty Element(s): true
    • Expandable Element: true (Accommodate large cookware and ensure even heat distribution with this feature, which allows more surface area for the individual heating element.)

Q: Can you please send me the instructions To install I have it installed I just can’t get it to stay on I miss placed mine

A: My daughter has this same model (& I'm about to purchase the same model b/c I like it so much) but you must have at least a 45 Amp Circuit (She had a 50 installed, as I also have in prep for install). A typical electric (radiant--not Induction) cooktop is a 30 Amp wiring and breaker, so you cannot just change the cooktop, the amperage of both the wiring and breaker itself must be changed. Most sales people (especially in the big box stores) don't know this is a requirement.
