A: Yes, this lens will work on a Rebel T6 which has a crop sensor. I have a Canon Mark 3 which is a full frame sensor. So a 100mm lens will be 100mm. With any crop sensor body, you need to multiply 1.6 by the lens you are looking to buy. So for your T6, a 100mm lens will actually act like 160mm lens. You can't go wrong buying this lens, it's Amazing! And so sharp! You can use it for macro or portrait photography. I highly recommend this lens.

Super Macro and Portrait Lens
This Lens is awesome and holds up to the hype. It shows a 1 to 1 Macro ratio and provides great Bokeh/background blur for up close and Portrait photos. The IS makes hand holding a breeze...I do almost all my shooting hand-held and definitely need the IS, and with this being an L lens as identified by the red ring, it becomes a must have for your camera bag and you will not regret it. I’ve added 2 photos taken with this lens below...

Love it!
I love this lens!!!! Tack sharp and IS works great! This lens can be used for more than just macro photography. I've used it for everything from landscapes to portraits. Autofocus may be a bit slower than some of the non-macro lenses with a similar focal length but using the focus limiter switch greatly helps with focus speed. If you are looking for a macro lens and shoot Canon get one.

Love it!!!!
I love this lens! Very sharp crystal clear images that when blown up gives excellent detail without losing clarity. I use this lens most of all because I can get nice macro shots as well as beautiful portrait shots. Worth every penny!
