I couldn't get the Printer to work with my phone that's why I bought it ..I could get some prints off of working with it.. sorry I had to return it..I took a picture of a print from the Canon printer..
I love this printer! It’s so easy to use for air printing from iPhones, iPads ect. It prints very fast and the quality is excellent. Scanning is excellent quality as well. Easy to make copies. One of the best quality for the price out there and I used to have an HP that recently stopped working and purchased this. I’m completely happy and would say this works just as well as the HP I used to have.
I am partial to Canon brand printers, that is why I chose this one, I feel I made a good decision. I am really happy with it so far. do however, wish it came with instructions on how to use the various features. Everything is done online now, even the setup of the printer. There was no setup disc. And the page that mentions the features doesn't really give instructions, But the printer itself, I am very happy with.
omg I had an older Canon printer and it was easy to use but when I bought this one I looked online and it was easy to set up I have never ever tried to make photos from a printer before the first photo I printed out came out perfect now I just want to keep printering out photos i feel like a professional
The printer was extremely easy to connect to the network. The only difficulty was setting up the computer when I couldn't find a drive to download from the Canon website. So I just added it the Control Panel and it seems to work.
The other issue I've experienced is not being able to download a manual with step-by-step instructions for scanning a hard copy to my desktop. The only assistance I've been able to find is via the web and I'd prefer a manual.
Best to use with a cord. It also is already low on black ink from using it for a little over a month.
Used it at one house and connected with my laptop every time after setup. Moved it to another house, and continuously has issues connecting, even though I have uninstalled and reinstalled it many times.
The printer prints very well when you put the original on the glass and hit print. Printing from an external device like a computer or a smartphone is another story. The instructions to do this where very complicated. Much more so than they need to be. This printer replaced an old mx922 which set up with no issues. I’ve finally got the ts6240 set up to print from my PC , Ipad , and android cell phone.I then tried to set up scanning. The on line manual is a joke. The info on the web was no help. I plan on returning it to Best Buy.
A:AnswerFrom my research, Canon printers and inks are not edible. Since I was unfamiliar with edible inks, I find there are specific printers and inks available for this purpose.
With regard to Canon ink being the same for all printers, I can confirm they are not the same since my current printer is my third Canon and each previous printer ink cartridges are different and cannot be used on my current printer. I'm trying to determine if there is a way to trade in the unused cartridges for ink that will work with my new printer and give those that are partially used to someone who can use them.
A:AnswerScanning is done on the desktop computer or laptop based on loading the software from Canon website. There are no controls on the printer to scan. I scan from a Dell XPS8930 desktop and I could also load the software onto my Dell laptop if I wanted. WiFi connection works well with this.
