Well, here we are. This day & age, no one, really know's about the true Mickey Mouse. Of course, he's know as a just another silly cartoon characther like, all the other cartoon's now a day's. Which is very dissapointing might i add. Truth of the real matter, is, these are the real Mickey Mouse cartoon's. & what cartoon's use to mean & be like without lazy junk computers. Before i get to the best of this blu ray, i will get thee, dissapointments out of the way first. There are no special features? & not even, Mickey Mouses first ever cartoon, which was Plane Crazy. & yes that was the very first Mickey Mouse Cartoon. Now, the hand picked Mickey Mouse Cartoon's picked for his birthday, are, Fantastic. They are an, absolute breath of, fresh air, & to finally get watch, Walt Disney's, Yours & mine, best friend, & inspiration to treasure, for all eternity. Walt Disney, where ever you are brother, your best friend Mickey Mouse is an iconic human Mouse, that i will have in my heart forever.

We're huge fans of animation, old and new, so this disc was an easy buy. The shorts look beautiful. Disney doesn't seen interested in doing HD remasters for its library of older shorts (unlike the DVD remastering they had done for the much missed Disney Treasures DVD line). A little disappointed that these shorts weren't further remastered for 4K, but we appreciate the blu-ray level remastering. We're big fans of having the physical discs rather than going with digital only versions. Discs don't rely on an internet connection and you own them - you technically own a digital only version, too, but if the platform/app goes away, you may lose access to it. That being said, this set does include codes for digital versions as a bonus, so you can still have the convenience of digital versions -and- have the discs for the same price. Hope to see more HD remastered Disney shorts, too.

I grew up watching Disney cartoons since I was 3 years old back in the 80’s and to see some of them all again in this one collection only featuring the Mouse is nostalgia at best. You get to relive all of Mickeys adventure from Steamboat Willy, Thru The Mirror, Brave Little Tailor and others. Best way to commemorate Mickey Mouses 90th anniversary is through this awesome Blu-ray. If you love the classics, especially if you’re a fan of the early Disney’s short cartoons like the Silly Symphonies and others, you won’t regret picking this one up!

If you are a Disney fan or know of a Disney fan that appreciates the animations, this is a must-have. Seeing Steamboat Willie for the first time with the 'shaky' style animation with the original 'old time' audio had me mesmerized at how the Disney animation empire started. Celebrating Mickey is a collection that will have you rewatching again and again. It helps that it comes with a digital copy that allows me to enjoy it on itunes and Movies Anywhere. Whether this is for yourself or as a gift, Celebrating Mickey is a must own.

I bought this blu-ray for nostalgia purposes; as a kid, I was a huge Mickey Mouse fan. It has wane since then but I am still a fan of the mouse, which is why I purchase this. It contains numerous shorts I watch as a kid and others that I did not. It also contains some important historical one as well, for any history buff out there. The shorts are still as entertaining as I remember them and the quality of the image is superb. Recommended for any animation fans or Mickey fans.

I must admit, this was an impulse purchase! I grew up watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" and enjoying Walt Disney's many brilliant creations. For some reason, however, I had never seen "Steamboat Willie," so I figured I'd buy this and watch Mickey's debut. All I can say is that it was fabulous! The image quality is awesome and I highly recommend this collection to Disney fans.
