Works as advertised
|Posted .I've had this model for a week now. I cooked everyday for 5 days using this air fryer. The food that I cooked were French fries, chicken wings, mini frozen corn on cob, large boneless- skinless chicken breasts marinated. Every one of the foods I cooked above came out delicious. The fries were crispy and delicious. I used steak fries and crinkle cuts. If you want to achieve the crispiest fries without having burned sticks use cooking spray like Crisco and sprinkle a little seasoning while cooking. Use the +5 button no more then 2x, watch them cook and crisp. You will get crispy fries. The time for cooking does vary and does not necessarily go by preset or cookbook. Towards the end of each item I cooked I watched through window, (terrific idea to put a window on an air fryer!) To know when it was time to stop the cooking process even though this will go into warm mode. Being a beginner, it was my way of learning this unit. Where i'm new to air frying I did not want to over cook anything. The preset is close to the proper timing, just not exact. The temp works great. It will even keep your food warm. Again, from time to time while air fryer is in cooking process watch the unit to not dry out foods just cooked and then being warmed. You can always cut back and adjust the time if planning to use the warm feature. This unit DOES NOT smoke anything whatsoever. I didn't use any oils. I simply used a little cooking spray before and during cooking to achieve my desired crunch and to be sure chicken didn't dry out. Chicken came out perfectly delicious and moist. I marinated chicken first in Caribbean jerk sauce for about 30 mins. It was Devine. The prongs provided while I am thankful they were provided, however, they could be much sturdier and have an oven safe grip on the bottom to where it will hold onto fryer basket better especially when hot and trying to turn foods. Using fryer basket to turn fries can be a bit challenging because the prongs, if not properly squeezed to secure basket will slip off. I simply used prongs to remove basket from unit to a trivet then used oven mitts to shake basket over sink in the event of fry spillage. I placed a piece of wax paper in sink to catch any loose fries. And you can use other tongs to turn things if so desired instead. This unit is affordable, easy to use, does exactly what it is supposed to do. I really enjoy cooking with it. You will just have to adjust cooking times a bit depending on desired crunch or doneness (use a thermometer if needed) for some foods. Watch through window. It is super quiet compared to one other air fryer I owned briefly. I owned a Gourmia for 2 weeks. Used 2x, upon second use the temp LED didn't work and it was super loud and smoked. Returned and bought Chefman and so far this is the best (imo). My only complaint is the prongs used to grab basket or round baking pan. A little oven safe gripper should be added to properly secure and remove hot items or when needing to turn items. To make gripping easier. The prongs are a bit cheesy. Other then that i'd have given 5 stars without thinking about it. It's worth every penny.

Great Air Fryer
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendMy wife and i have had multiple air fryers usually purchased through QVC or HSN . They were always 1500 watts or more power requirement.. most homes if older only have 15 amp outlets so they don't work 100%. We saw this air fryer at Boscovs and bought it. It's truly fanyastic. It usually cooks in half the time of a gas oven and you don't need to constantly rotate or flip food. Plus it only draws 1200 watts! It comes with a rotisserie that will cook Cornish hens, plus wire basket and raised grilling rack and cake pan. Nothing sticks inside! Finally the best thing is you can watch whatever you cook through the front glass window.. We went to Best Buy and bought a 2nd one cause we know before long it probably will no longer be available.. GET YOURS WHILE YOU CAN IF YOUR LUCKY ENOUGH...

I like it, but...
|Posted .No, I would not recommend this to a friendIt works very well. The chicken really delicious and the crispy fries. The only bad thing is that it does not have an automatic shutdown and that is a problem if you enter the shower or you have to leave emergency, because the cooking time continues, I would like it to be like the microwave or other air fryer that turn off automatically. Only for that I don't recommend it

Multiple purpose air fryer

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This is is my third air fryer. The other two are still in use. This one is larger and the rotisserie feature attracted me. It would be a stretch to do a whole chicken, but things smaller work great. There is a wire mesh basket which makes it easier to do french fries and other veggies. Clean up is easy. I cook for one or two. This works better than an over for my size meals.

3rd one
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendBought this one for us since it had a larger tub and window to see. The rotisserie will only cook Hens but if you lay a chicken on a rack it works just as good. It fit a 5lb bird. Fries comes out super crispy like fast food ... anything you want a crisp bite too will to the job well!

Q: QuestionWhat are the differences between the digital and analog air fryers?
Asked by Mainah.
- A:Answer The difference is some have very few preset digital temperatures and all you get such as 250 degrees, 350 degrees and 400 degrees, in form of button for fries or chicken or programed buttons. While most analog air fryers allow you to change temperature normally by 5 degrees intervals.

Q: QuestionWhat temperature do i set for a small whole chicken and how long to cook it? And what temperature to use when frying?
Asked by Nikkimonique57.
- A:Answer Part of this is trial and error. I google this question when I try something new. My experience has been that answers found there are great. Those also provide advice regarding spices, etc. You have a powerful cooking device. Enjoy it

Q: Questioncan you make beff jerky or dryfruit in this air fryer
Asked by hugh.
- A:Answer I doubt it since drying is a slow process at slightly elevated temperatures. This appliance would cook them rather than dry them.

Q: QuestionCan I cook a roast beef on the rotisserie? If so what temp and time?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer It would have to be a small roast. A small whole chicken is about the limit. I baked a small ham on it. That is about its limit as well. A larger one could be cooked without the totisserie. The interior pan is large.
