Great cooling! But Linux users look elsewhere.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the iCUE H170i ELITE to cool my Ryzen 9 5950X in a Corsair 5000D Airflow case. Works well! Instructions were clear and I had a working system in minutes. Mounting to the CPU was a bit fiddly, but that is more a flaw of the AM4 socket than it is this AIO. Only downside is limited control of this device when using Linux. Even with OpenRGB an LiquidCTL installed, this product is difficult to configure. Once I can fully modify the settings in linux, I'll upgrade to 5 stars.

LGA 1700 BEWARE

Great Cooler

Be sure to buy high end thermal like Thermal Grizzly for high end CPUs. I would not recommend getting the LCD version as it has a firmware issue that hasn't been fixed yet. Buy this and then purchase upgrade kit once it's fixed (google it, you'll see). Extremely good cooler for $230.
