A: dont bother...these are very average steel blade knives that you have to sharpen often
A: My daughter (who attended culinary classes) tells me the color coding addresses meat, veg, dairy, etc to avoid cross contamination. Not such a big deal for home use, but in a busy commercial kitchen it CAN be............I'd say for the price, HIDE the orange knife and sheath ; )
Q: Are these knives for like non-stick cake pans so they don't cut the pan?
A: I would not recommend doing in a pan. They are sharp.
Q: Can these be sharpened when they get dull?
A: Yes you can. The blade is colored but the edge is stainless steel.
