Great little coffeemaker

The stainless carafe keeps the coffee nice and hot. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a permanent filter so I had to purchase one separately.

Small but De-lish Coffee

Easy to use & stays hot. Reasonably priced as well. Cuisiart makes excellent products.

Q: QuestionThis coffee maker is less than a week old. Yet, there is something rattling around in the carafe. It sounds like a coin, but I know it can't be. Has anyone else had this problem? Can I still make coffee using this carafe?

- A:Answer I'm answering my own question. The "coin-like rattling sound" was caused by a simple but durable plastic measuring spoon. I find it very handy and it fits perfectly into my Le Creuset ceramic coffee storage container. Three level spoons of finely-ground coffee are plenty to make an entire four-cup pot.
