Real glass with a solid base! Works better than similar machines we've bought at many times the price. Had it for several months now and am still grateful I bought it.

For the price this blender works just fine. Don't expect it to work as well as a Vitamix and you won't be disapointed.

ITEM WORKS GREAT AND WITH THE PULSE CYCLE I CAN CONTROL THE TEXTURE OF BABY FOODS WITH EASE! GREAT PRICE WITH DISCOUNTS. I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN!

Replaced blender to add to the RED accents in my kitchen. Use daily for smooties and the ice crushing setting is super!!!
