Family Fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is easy to learn and fun for the whole family! Your child should be able to read well and have a decent understanding of the geography of the US. My ten year old is very capable of playing. We played with grandparents too. Everyone had fun!

Fun game with semi-complicated scoring
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We played this over the holidays with family and really enjoyed how intricate it can get. The rules are a little confusing/complicated at first, particularly how they score it. So it takes a little while to get a hang of it, and more importantly how to strategize to win the game. What I enjoy about this game is that there is a lot of strategy involved in winning the game and you can continue to develop and improve your strategy as you play. Which means it's a game you can play a lot and justify it's semi-high price tag for the game.

Tricky Strategy Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an engaging game that takes quite a bit of strategy and thinking, plus a pretty big element of luck. Mastering it can take some time, but a beginner can still jump right in and enjoy. This game has lots of little pieces, so it isn't great for little kids.

Great family fun, easy to learn.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife introduced me to this game as we've been playing more board games with our friends. Ticket to Ride is a fast paced strategy game that is very risk/reward based. The board is made up of major cities and there are train tracks printed in-between the cities. Major cities have multiple tracks, and smaller cities may only have one or two tracks. Each player has up to three goals in the beginning of the game that tells them which train tracks they have to connect (such as Seattle to Memphis). The strategy of the game is to complete the goals (in secret) and block other players from building their tracks. This was a great game to play with kids 6th grade and up.
