    Synopsis

    Delivery Man
An aging slacker and former sperm donor discovers that he is the biological father of 533 children, and that 142 of them have filed a lawsuit to learn his true identity in this Dreamworks comedy starring Vince Vaughn. Aside from the fact that he was a regular visitor at a fertility clinic 20 years ago, there's nothing particularly remarkable about David Wozniak (Vince Vaughn): He drives a meat-delivery truck for his father's butcher business, he can't seem to hold down a relationship, and lately he's taken to growing marijuana as a means of paying off an $80,000 debt. He's so inept at even the simplest things that his girlfriend Emma (Cobie Smulders) can't stand the sight of him after she reveals that she's pregnant with his child. When an attorney tracks David down and reveals that he is the biological father of 533 children, and that 142 of them have filed a lawsuit to learn his true identity, the former donor panics, recruiting his lawyer friend Brett (Chris Pratt) to defend the privacy agreements he signed at the clinic. When Brett returns with an envelope containing profiles of all 142 children named in the lawsuit, however, David can't help but look, and before long he's surreptitiously injecting himself into the lives of his unsuspecting offspring. Meanwhile, as he begins to grow excited at the prospect of having his own child, he finds that sometimes the best fathers are the men who seem the least fit for parenting. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Delivery Man is a comedy/drama that directed by Ken Scott, who wrote and directed the original movie for which this film is based on. The film stars Vince Vaughn, Chris Pratt, and Cobie Smulders. It is a remake of Scott's 2011 French-Canadian film Starbuck. The plot of the film is pretty easy, it follows an underachiever (Vaughn) finds out he's fathered 533 children through anonymous donations to a fertility clinic 20 years ago. Now he must decide whether or not to come forward when 142 of them file a lawsuit to reveal his identity. I found that beyond Vaughn’s and Smulder’s good performances, Chris Pratt was great in this film. This film shows you why he was cast in movies like Zero Dark Thirty and Moneyball. I enjoyed this movie and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you for reading my review and if this review was helpful please indicate it was, it goes a long way

The movie is based on a guy that donates sp*erm 600+ times, with the clinic who received it re-using his sp*erm on 590+ different donor receivers, producing over 510 kids. About 20 years later, about 120 of those kids file a law-suite to try and find out the identity of their SP*ERM father. I personally love it when a comedian actually plays a serious/comedic role and knocks it out of the park. Vince Vaughn definitely did so in my view. My heart was touched several times throughout the movie and just loved the ending. Definitely recommended, but not for kids who have not had "the talk" yet.

In this heartwarming comedy, underachiever David Wozniak (Vince Vaughn) learns he's actually an overachiever -- he's fathered 533 children via donations made twenty years earlier! David soon discovers that the shock of his life might just be the best thing that's ever happened to him. Along the way he discovers not only his true self, but also the father he could become.

I like movies. Like to watch them with my teenage sons. Vince Vaughn does a good job as usual in this movie about a sperm donor who fathers 533 children. A lawsuit by 144 of the young adult children to find out who their biological father is, forces Vaughn to take a look at his life and make some changes.

vince vaughn is a good actor even thouugh he plays much of the same type of roles in all his movies this is a good movie, if you find it in the 5$ bin get it, not something you will watch over and over again but if the price is right its good. It is no wedding crashers but it might tickle someones funny bone

Movie was funny but slow. It is a remake and they changed very little in this version. I think they could have done it better for this version, been more extreme with the story line. It was ok overall, but would have rather rented it than bought it for seeing it for the first time.

An interesting film that goes deeper than any of the trailers led audiences to believe, interesting to see Chris Pratt before he became a leading man.
