Q: Is the Battery integrated or can it be removed in order to just use direct power.
A: I would buy a different computer. I can't answer your battery question, but I just purchased this computer in September, and wish I had done more research. It's slower than death and the only thing I've downloaded is Microsoft Word, not even the whole office product.
