A: I left Mike outside accidentally and it was in a huge thunderstorm with pouring rain for 3 hours, after I relived and brought it inside it had some warning for a few weeks but then worked perfectly fine
Q: Will this combo allow me to do head tracking as one of its features?
A: Yes and it’s pretty crazy

A: Not sure but the goggles come with a ton of lenses for the glasses type u wear

Worth buying from best buy if you’re new
The avata is very nice, I like how well I can cut through gaps with this drone I just hate that it isn’t as fast as my fpv. My fpv sounds like if bees could scream, this drone sounds like a horror movie that howls. The new goggles are nice, but I’m not a big fan that you can’t just swap batteries in the headset. I do appreciate they added free corrective eye lenses though. Head tracking cool. I love that Best Buy offers a replacement warranty if a major wrecks happens which I’ve been great at flying. I let my buddy try fpv for the first time and he managed to come down hit the grass the drone goes back up then somehow in sport mode decided it was going to double frontflips backwards qinto the tress and then mow its way through so much brush and ended up coming back out still flying which it decide to hover until I found it and sent it back home. I like that it has internal memory which caught the wreck but I hate it doesn’t have a microphone like the fpv Dji. I do like that if I record from my goggles I can get the hud display in the playback video to show people what it’s like flying. Drone probably deserves 4/5 but from best buy 5/5 all day

DJI Avata
Pretty cool for beginners getting into drones. Battery life is short, I personally realized I want a drone with longer life to cruise around in. If you want to go fast and do flips, this is the drone. But needs multiple batteries. Comes with safety features to return the drone home automatically. Comes with the motion controller, good for beginners but can't access manual mode with full dexterity and speed. Need to buy a $200 controller for that. Video quality and refresh rate on goggles is great. Con is the longstanding problem of DJI designing the default foam for only Eastern face shapes, they could have at least added in 2 or 3 different foam shapes in the box. I can't breathe through my nose with these on. Need to buy aftermarket foam. Also these goggles and the goggles 2 do NOT support analog video. so this will only work on DJI drones or a custom drone with a dji camera

This is a Blast
Ive been flying drones for over 10 years now but never got into the FPV world....This thing is AMAZING , Simple to fly and extremly fun to do so....From what ive seen so far after two weeks of use it is extremely durable also...The camera sytem is AWESOME with crystal clear transmission to the goggles....If your on the fence just do it,I dont think you will be disappointed....
