With the Dojo, I found the set up process to be very simple. To get started, after unboxing the Dojo, I connected the Dojo Base Unit to our WiFi router using the Ethernet cable that is included. I then added the 4 AA batteries to the Dojo pebble, pressed the button on the bottom of the pebble to power it on and downloaded the Dojo App to my phone. Within just a few minutes from the time I unboxed the Dojo and downloaded the app, we were set up and ready to begin using our Dojo! From there, I right away began seeing our devices being added so I could monitor them through the Dojo App in real time. I also found that as devices were being found on our network that I could choose to either keep them or have them removed and even blocked from accessing our network if they are not authorized on our network. Allowing me to control what and who has access to our home network which is a must for anyone who has smart devices in the home. Which include not just the phones, computer, tablets, smart tv's and even smart appliances, but also our baby monitors, security systems, cameras and anything else that we have connected to our home WiFi. I received a Dojo to review, and am so glad that I did. This device is extremely easy to set-up, and it automatically finds all of the devices that are using your Wi-Fi networks. It found all of our smart home devices, tablets, laptops and smartphones in just a few minutes. Once devices are found, it's easy to set up profiles for extra security on certain devices. I really love this idea, since it's much easier than attempting to make sure that every device the kids have access to in the home is secure. With Dojo, I get an alert to the app on my phone anytime there is a potential security risk. I also love having the ability to monitor and fully control my children's access to the internet. As a homeschooling mother, this allows me much more time to spend working with the children rather than worrying about the security of their online devices. Another thing I love is how sleek and discreet the device is. The small pebble literally fits in the palm of my hand and doesn't take up much space at all. It's amazing how much security can be obtained from such a powerful little device!

I am amazed at how Dojo by BullGuard studies our home network constantly to protect us at all times. We do not have a lot of smart appliances, however, we do use our router for 2 computers and 6 mobile devices including a mobile booster. I like the app features. We can name each smart device detected by Dojo. This allows us to know immediately who or what is at risk when a situation arises. Dojo provides optimum cybersecurity!

With so many family members connecting to the internet, I am always worried about what might slip through the controls we have in place. I was thrilled to be sent a unit to test out in our home. Dojo is so easy to set up. I followed the instructions, including the manual override of a setting on the router. Everything was complete in under 30 minutes and Dojo then started learning the network. And it does catch things you may not have noticed otherwise! When one teen was accessing a game site, Dojo found the laptop trying to connect to a potentially malicious site. It blocked access and sent me an alert via the app on my phone. My teen didn't even notice as his game was playing fine. I am resting much more secure in the knowledge it is monitoring everything connected to our router. I've tried to manipulate router settings to accomplish some of this and found some software based programs allowed things to sneak past at times.

Easy to setup, updates in real time of any threats or breaches on your router, and it learns as it goes to always provide the optimal protection for all your connected devices. The Dojo is a must have for any smart home. I received this product for review. All opinions are my own.
