I thought this was an amazing game and perhaps the best use of the wii controls of all the games I've played to date. It was a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend it. It was hard to put down when playing it. Now the reason I gave it 4 star instead of 5, its disappointingly short especially for a Square Enix game. If it weren't for the fact that the game was so much fun for the short time I did play it, I would tell everyone to just rent it rather than buying because you can finish it that fast. There are a few extra bosses you can fight after the game is over but even with that I constantly felt like I wanted more levels and the bosses were just a consolation.

The game is incredibly fun, but right when it gets to the point where you don't think you will ever put it down, you beat the main boss. It took about 10 hours to beat all of the levels which is shorter than I had hoped for. However, there is great replay-ability because it is so fun. Also, just like all Dragon Quest games, there is more to be done after you defeat the main boss. Unlike traditional RPGs, battles are no longer random or done by turns. You face an enemy at certain point every time, and you don't have to wait until your turn to attack. You can swing the sword whenever you want to. The sound quality and voice acting are very good in this game. Overall, this is a Top 10, if not Top 5 game for the Wii.
