When I saw this headset I thought it had to be too good to be true. The sliding magnet on the side to simulate a screen tap, built in retracting headphones with volume controls, and CARDBOARD ready. Unfortunately, I was right. The magnet fell off first day and its counterpart inside has been rattling around since. Couldn't get it back in position even with a more powerful magnet. The volume buttons dont work on all applications, which sucks when your playing online and an add loads midgame that is 10X the games volume. A special warning to Motorola Droid Turbo 2 owners, the audio cord is on the right side of the headset. This means your power/volume buttons will be pressing right into the ledge the phone is meant to rest on. Also, some VR apps will be SURE that your phone is upside down and flip the screen on you, making you choose between rotating it 180 and not hearing anything, or leaving it having sound but the picture be upside down. Lastly, CARDBOARD ready. Supposedly... except when you download and open cardboard the first thing it asks you is to scan the headsets Cardboard QR (like normal QR, but with l a little pair of glasses in middle) code to configure. Checked all the instructions, warranty, disclaimer, and every inch of the box but no QR code. No, wait... there was a "QR" but not a "cardboard QR". Spent a while searching online before I found it.

    Awesome for the money

Overall this is an excellent entry level headset. It works with iOS, which was important to me. The lenses are good and the headset is very comfortable. I can also fit my glasses inside the headset, but I've noticed I don't have to because I can adjust the lenses easily. The ear buds that come with it are a bonus, but I still like to use headphones. The compartment to hold the phone is so far so good. It clamps in pretty tightly and uses magnets. The only cons are that the side straps for the headset can come loose and fall out of their clasps. This is fixable with a small piece of tape over the opening. Also, some light gets through a small opening by where it sits on my nose, but I have a small nose, so maybe that's why. This is fixable as well. I've really enjoyed using this headset. Definitely worth every penny.

Read the full review and more at yayornay.tk! Pros - - Built in earbuds - Works with most sizes of smartphones - Built in strap - Attractive design Cons - - The earbud's audio cable is on the wrong side for most Android smartphones. - The strap slides up and falls off your head - The divot for your nose is a bit big for some noses and will let light in which ruins the experience - The headset is pretty heavy without your phone and when you wear it with your phone it makes it SUPER EASY TO FALL OFF. It's a great bargain for the occasional user who will watch 360 videos, but for ANYTHING more than that, please consider something else.

Not having a Samsung phone doesn't mean you can't get a good VR experience. This VR headset is quite capable although getting it setup correctly can be difficult. The first issues is you need to set the device up correctly in the software. Unfortunately the manufacturer does not provide the needed QR code, even on their web site. You have to search one of the sites out there that have all the listings. I have a problem in that my phone is slightly too big and I have a hard time centering the phone so that I don't get a white line in my field of view. The magnetic switch is awkward and doesn't seem to work with a few VR apps I've tried. However, it doesn't prevent one from using the apps still. So take some time to get the software setup correctly, adjust the straps and have fun. The image quality can be quite amazing with the proper app and content.

Want to throw your phone on the ground? Get these!

For the money, I thought the Dream Vision Pro goggles were a fun toy, on my first night. I like how the lenses can be easily adjusted to trade the glasses among family. However, the strap not only picks up every pet hair in a 3 foot radius, but it also slides off your head. I was shooting down a virtual airplane when the goggles hit the ground. They were adjusted tight, but the material is cheaper than the elastic on my underwear (picture that in 3D). The straps are held on with two fork tines, and the slippery material slides right out from between them. If that doesn't drop your $700 phone to the floor, then the door magnets will. They don't stay shut. You can click them shut, but any fast movement will launch your phone out of the door and onto the floor. I'm not bitter, I got what I paid for, but beware!!

First time I ever purchased a VR headset. Wanted to get something relatively cheap to see if I would like it. Takes a couple minutes to adjust to the screen, but once you have it on it works to its fullest potential. The earbuds slide out on each side for you to use if you like, but you must connect it to your phone before you strap the headset on. I use Bluetooth headphones that I bought separately since the earbuds that are provided don't go completely into my ear. Also, using minimal lighting in the room you are in is also key. Sometimes if you are in a well lit room, the light sneaks in by the nose and very slightly interferes with the viewing process. Otherwise, a great product to use if you want to dabble in the VR world.

    Not Realistic

I read the reviews and was really excited to purchase this product for my 23 year old brother. Unfortunately, it was not realistic AT ALL. The quality of the picture is below par--it's like watching a glitchy cartoon from the 90s. Also, the strap kept sliding off of his head (and mine). Please do yourself a favor and purchase a better headset. You get what you pay for and I definitely threw away my money when I purchased this item. It may be better suited for children---but I honestly would just STEER CLEAR.

    Straps are Annoying

The product itself seems okay. I can't say much because I have not personally used it. I bought it for my daughter. What I can say is that the straps that keep it on her head keep coming off. As of the first day of use, the strap already had a hole in it because I had to keep reattaching it. This is very annoying since I thought I was buying top quality by choosing one that cost more than the others. We had a cheap hand-held one that worked fine, but I bought this one so she could attach it to her head.
