A: It sends Left and Right channels to each headset.

A: This is not the device you want. This Dynex Splitter handles output only, so it allows for two earbuds, headphones, speakers or audio devices to play music out of one source. It is not an input splitter so your mic will not work with this device. Sorry :(

A: All this product does is plug into the audio input, and split the audio to two inputs. As long as your headphone jack works, this product will work just fine.

Q: Can you use this to plug audio and microphones into one

A: Unfortunately, no. I purchased this splitter with the same intention, since I wanted to use it for a microphone I had purchased and my laptop has a "combined" port that doesn't handle mics. I found out on receiving the splitter that it is an output splitter only, so it plugs into the 3.5mm jack and allows for two headphones, earbuds, speakers, or audio output devices to be plugged into one source. It does not handle input, so it will not split mic and audio. Sorry :(

Q: Will this hook up a Sennheiser headphone set to a Sanyo TV? The headset has a red plug and a black plug and the TV has a round opening labeled Headphone.

Q: What's the size of the black plastic part that is just below the Jack plug? I need to be able to fit another adapter side by side on a Logitec USB adapter and it is a very tight fit.

A: The part is about 1/2" in diameter, and 1-1/2" long just below the plug that goes into the jack.
