Dyson's latest purifiers combine intelligent sensing with an advanced filtration system. Three phases of purification sit within a fully sealed filtration and airflow system. So what goes inside, stays inside. A solid-state formaldehyde sensor and a unique catalytic filter detect and continuously destroy formaldehyde¹, an activated carbon filter removes gases and odors and a HEPA filter captures 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns in size. Then powerful Air Multiplier technology purifies, heats the whole room and cools you.²

Q: Does it have any plastic part? Does it have a California Proposition 65 warning?
A: Hello Gedys, this is Kelly with Dyson. There are plastic components within the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Formaldehyde HP09. Prior to 2019, Dyson made the decision to redesign our machines so that a Prop 65 label is no longer needed. Therefore, all Dyson products produced in 2019 and later do not require the prop 65 label. To provide you with additional confidence in our products, in 2018 Dyson developed a new comprehensive Prop65 assessment program in collaboration with 3rd Party laboratories. The assessment included full product evaluation & testing on high risk parts/materials and a toxicological risk assessment process by US board-certified toxicologists to evaluate the chemicals identified in our finished product. Only after passing the assessment, are the products made available for sale. We hope this puts your mind at ease and removes any reservations about the use of our machines. Best Wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
