ELVIS: VIDEO DOCUMENTARY "THAT'S THE WAY IT IS"
Posted ."THAT'S THE WAY IT IS" VIDEO DOCUMENTARY IS AVAILABLE HERE IN A DOUBLE-DISC COLLECTION WITH SUPERBLY REMASTERED FULL HD QUALITY VIDEO+AUDIO MATERIAL. THIS DOCUMENTARY, ORIGINALLY RELEASED IN 1970, IS KNOWN AS THE NEXT TO LAST OF THIRTY-THREE MOVIES MADE DURING HIS CAREER. SOME OF HIS MOVIES WERE OF ACTING ROLES AND PLOTS WHICH LITERALLY UPSET AND NAUSEATED ELVIS HIMSELF, THOUGH A FEW DID INDEED SHOWCASE THE POTENTIAL ACTING TALENTS WHICH ELVIS DEEPLY ASPIRED TO ACCOMPLISH. THE FINAL TWO, HOWEVER, WERE VERY DIFFERENT IN THAT "THAT'S THE WAY IT IS" AND "ELVIS ON TOUR" EXHIBITED ELVIS FINALLY ESCAPING HIS DREADED HOLLYWOOD CONTRACTS. IN FACT, THESE WERE OF DOCUMENTARIES CAPTURING "THE KING" ON HIS RETURN TO LIVE PERFORMING AND DOING WHAT HE KNEW AND LOVED DOING BEST, ENTERTAINING LIVE AUDIENCES. PEOPLE ADORED SEEING HIM IN CONCERT AND RECOGNIZED HIS MUTUAL AFFECTION AND APPRECIATION FOR THEM. ALL GENDERS, ALL AGE GROUPS, WOULD COME FROM ALL THROUGHOUT THE GLOBE FOR A TREASURED CHANCE TO ACTUALLY BUY A TICKET TO BE A MEMBER OF HIS AUDIENCE; AND, MOST NOTEWORTHY IS THE FACT THAT, HE HAD ALWAYS HELD A STANDING-ROOM-ONLY ATTENDANCE RECORD. HERE IN "THAT'S THE WAY IT IS" WE'VE AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE ONE OF THOSE FORTUNATE AUDIENCE MEMBERS, RIGHT IN OUR OWN HOMES. HERE IS VALUABLE FOOTAGE, CAPTURING THE HEALTHY & PURE ELVIS, IN RARE FORM, WHICH TOO FEW PEOPLE RECALL WHEN THEY THINK OF ELVIS PRESLEY. THIS IS TRULY THE UNIQUELY TALENTED, AMAZINGLY HANDSOME, CHARMING, AND ENERGETICALLY EAGER TO ENTERTAIN THE CROWDS. IN THIS FILM, ELVIS IS RECENTLY AND FRESHLY UPON HIS INCREDIBLY SUCCESSFUL RETURN TO LIVE PERFORMING, NEARLY AN EXACT ONE YEAR SINCE OPENING TO RAVE REACTIONS IN THE LAS VEGAS SHOWROOM ARENA. HE HAD BEEN AT THE PRIME AGE OF THIRTY-FIVE, AND WAS HEALTHY, PASSIONATE, ENERGETIC, GOOD HUMOURED, WITH REFRESHED CONCEPTS ON HOW TO BE A HIGHLY SUPERIOR SHOWMAN, THE LIKES OF WHICH HAS NOT BEEN SEEN IN THAT SHOWBIZ TOWN EVEN TO THIS CURRENT DAY. THIS IS RARE FOOTAGE OF ELVIS BEHIND-THE-SCENES, REHEARSING AND INTERACTING WITH HIS BACKING VOCALISTS AND BAND MEMBERS, AND "TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS" ON STAGE. THIS MATERIAL IS TO BE CHERISHED FOR WE DO POSSESS THE OPPORTUNITY TO ENJOY THIS ONE OF A KIND ARTIST AT HIS PHYSICAL AND VOCAL PEAK, AUTHENTICALLY IN THE REAL ROLE OF ELVIS THE ULTIMATE ENTERTAINER THAT HE TRULY WAS; BETTER THAN HE HAD EVER BEEN BEFORE OR AFTERWARDS. SIMPLY, ELVIS "THAT'S THE WAY IT IS" IS ELVIS ARON PRESLEY IN THE MANNER BY WHICH HE SHOULD BE KNOWN AND REMEMBERED. ELVIS, THIS IS THE WAY HE WAS. MAY HIS MEMORY FOREVER SHINE BRIGHTLY!!!
