Q: Are there wall height requirements for the 120 inch screen?
A: Hello John. The following dimensions can be a good reference point to know how much room you will need for optimal screen placement on a wall. The overall dimensions of the screen measure 105.5" x 59.7" x 1.2". The LS500 should be placed at a distance of 20.4" from the display. The projector surface to the base of the image should measure 14.7," and the surface of the projector to the top of the image should measure 73.6". Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
Q: What comes in the box when I purchase?
A: Screen, streaming media player and projector, please note that the box is huge
Q: Do any of your stores have this set up on display?
A: Hi Will, Yes! And more stores are being setup this month. You can go the “Where to Buy” section on Epson dotcom to find your local Best Buy Magnolia where it is displayed. Hopefully there is a store close to you since this is an EPIC display. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
Q: can be this be used outside? (Stored inside out of the weather, but set up for backyard movie night)
A: Hi Keith, We recommend using the EpiqVision Ultra LS500 in a fixed position in your living room or home theater. Using it outside may expose it to humidity and dust that could affect the operation of the projector. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
A: Hi SaltArmyWI, You can display a 90" diagonal image by moving the projector to within 12.8" to 20.8" from the viewing surface. This is the range the built-in Zoom feature can accommodate for a 90" display. You can project on any light-colored surface, but the ambient-light-rejecting screen that comes with the projector will give you the best image. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
Q: How big is the shipping box?
A: Hi Xman944, The 100" screen model’s box dimensions are 92" x 22" x 22" at 86 lbs. The 120" screen model’s dimensions are 120" x 22" x 22" at 103 lbs. The screen and projector are shipped in one box with the screen material in a roll. We recommend two people carry the box. The screen comes rolled up. Regards, Nancy - The Epson Team.
Q: Will this work in Europe? Can it accept both 120 and 240v?
A: Hi CA, The Epson 120" EpiqVision™ Ultra LS500 Short Throw Laser Projection TV with 4K PRO-UHD and HDR100 requires from 100-240 VAC ± 10%, 50/60 Hz to operate. If you move the projector to another region, there may be support issues with local Epson affiliates. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
Q: How far from the screen should the projector be placed, screen to lens distance?
A: Hello MA. The distance can vary from 7 to 23 inches depending on screen size. Please visit our official Epson Support page and review the "Projector Placement" section in the User's Guide for more details. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
