The wifey is a couponer so this item was a perfect gift for Mother's Day .. We needed an extra freezer that didn't take up much space and fridgidare was perfect.. Great and easy setup just plug and play within 45 minutes the temperate was right where we needed it. The digital controls is awesome because it's mounted on the door so no need to move all your frozen goods just get to the temp settings. Also it comes with an open door alarm and childlock!! For us this was a great buy and the price tag at bestbuy was great as always

I have been wanting a freezer for a very long time. My husband surprised me with this one and I couldn't be happier. The size is just right and not too big to fit in our main floor laundry room. It is not noisy at all. I was pleasantly surprised at the space in this freezer. It has more shelves than most plus two baskets at the bottom and plenty of space on the door for smaller items. When we first plugged it in I expected it to run for a long time in order to reach the proper temperature. It did not take long at all. It holds a half side of beef with room to spare. I couldn't be happier!

So far so good with my new freezer. Was upgrading a much older model that I had to defrost. I am enjoying the additional space. More shelves and door shelves help to organize better. The alarm will help wit those times the door is accidently left ajar, to reduce food wastage.

The freezer arrived on time and undamaged, was very easy to position, reached its operating temperature in a few hours, and has performed quietly and reliably in the two months since. I like the interior organization and options (two positions for each shelf, though I simply went with the defaults), including the door storage and bottom bin. Also appreciate the setting display on door and the two alarms available: door ajar and high temperature. I can't speak to long term performance or to its impact on my utility bill. At this point, I'm very satisfied with the purchase and with the way BestBuy handled delivery.

The freezer is great for a garage because it is somewhat noisy. We have it in our garage but against an interior wall and we can hear it running through the wall. The plastic organizers on the door are very flimsy. There is no good way to close the door, so you end up grabbing the plastic. I am sure one will break eventually. However, the price for this size of freezer is fantastic. If you can overlook some very minor flaws, this will work great for you.

Love the fact that it has a warning signal if the door is ajar.

This Frigidaire Freezer was an excellent buy for the money. I found this bargain for a friend of mine a few years ago and he purchased one. Since the price went up by about $200, I waited for a sale to purchase one for myself and got the same price that he paid for his unit. Both of these units have been working well. The shelves are adjustable and the freezer has ample space as well as a light. The temperature control is located on the front of the door and the unit also has a "High Temperature" and "Door Ajar" alarm, which can save you a lot of grief if someone forgets to close the door properly. If that happens too often, there is also a keyed door-lock to keep them out. The only down-side to this unit (other than it is only available in white, which is not an issue for me) is that the efficiency rating was on the low-end. However, I have not seen any significant increase in my electric bill. I also noticed that the motors produce a bit more operating noise than I expected but, again, this is not an issue for me either. My advice: if you are ready to upgrade to a larger freezer or you are in the market for your first deep freezer, get this unit. Although a chest freezer is less expensive, an upright freezer allows much easier access to its contents and I do speak from experience on this. Additionally, Best Buy had the lowest price of any competitors, the fastest delivery and very careful and courteous delivery people.

Because the freezer is a self defrosting freezer it is quite loud at certain times and presume that is when the defrosting mode comes into play but thank goodness I have a door between the kitchen and laundry room so it can be shut. The size is just right and replaces a little bigger one we had but this holds the same amount of items nicely.
