Great video quality, no special features
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed. One of my all time favorite films, great gory horror, great visual effects, fun characters, and some campy moments 9/10 Good price for the disk, a great video transfer, almost looks like 4k, also a great audio track, but there are ZERO specific features, which is a let down.

Good
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.. An intense horror movie! Redefines the genre by delivering a solid plot with a scary lead actor and multiple chilling moments. A little bit of pacing issues could've been handled well but the end takes the viewer by surprise. Christian Bale is effective. I first saw him as Batman and now as Bateman...His performance is outstanding! It's hard to decide which genre it actually comes under because it blends multiple genres: horror, drama, crime, thriller etc. But I would classify it as horror because even without the chills, the lead character still is pretty menacing.

"OK Ramblers, Let's Get Rambling"
||Posted .12 years before they would collaborate again on Grindhouse writer/director Quintin Tarrantino and director Robert Rodriguez gave us From Dusk Till Dawn, and action thriller that goes South of the Border into a Vampire flick. All the while turning George Clooney into one bad mother clucker. Quintin plays the second fiddle as the two are cast as the Gekko Brothers (perhaps cousins of the Vega Brothers) as they kidnap Harvey Kietel and Juliette Lewis and demand them to take them to Mexico and to a bar called the T**** Twister. The film features a cool cast from the likes of Fred Williamson, Tom Savani and the hottest chick in Hollywood Salma Hayek. What evolves is a fun flick and some real classic cheesy moments.

Bravo Mr. Rodriguez!
||Posted .While at a basic level this is a horror movie, it is so much more. There is a lot to say about this film. I will keep my comments to a minimum. George Clooney's feature film debut! Quentin Tarantino's best role! The acting was great! Harvey Keitel is fantastic! The movie was fun and entertaining, and actually good. And all of that without the horror. If the "bad stuff" never happened in this film I would still watch and enjoy. As a matter of fact I still really want to see a movie about the Gecko and what had led up to these events. Bravo Mr. Rodriguez!
