2nd time around, better be a charm
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This my 2nd Fujii, my 1st one (Finepix J38) was purchased about 4 years ago. Was working great, video and pics excellent then.... the battery and it's connection in the camera went somewhere? Replaced the battery twice even took it to Batteries Plus to make sure it wasn't the battery. It wasn't. From then on I try to take 2 to 3 pictures and it dies on you. Finally found another almost exact camera (newer model JX650) it fits my old memory card and all my old pics& video are just as clear as the day I took them. Crossing my fingers that this newer model will not do what the last one did and last me a longer time. Wish me luck!

This takes amazingly great photos.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This low cost camera takes photos of high quality costly one. It's very easy to use and it's one of the best I've had. It has many features, I've yet to discover. It's small enough to fit in your pocket and take shots most anywhere. I highly recommend the FinePix J650 for anyone that's looking for a easy to use and make great photos camera. There's nothing not to like.

Easy to use, a slight learning curve and great pic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For my 1st digital camera this has turned out to be a gem! The price was right and the service I received @ Best Buy was "top notch"! This past weekend it got a good baptism "under fire" when I went from Reno, NV to Los Angeles, CA for my 45th Class Reunion! It took great pictures and I took a LOT of pictures! The down size to the camera is only one color was available and it seems to have poor "zoom" control and that may be only me, time will tell! I am really pleased with this acquisition! When I am ready for an upgrade, Best Buy will be my first choice!

Very easy to use and takes great pictures
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great camera for a beginner. I use it everywhere I go. It is really easy to setup, and it takes minimum knowledge to know how to run it. Doesn't provide a lot of features which is great for a beginner. Takes very good pictures especially in AUTO mode. Doesn't have a lot of buttons that will confuse the operator. Fujifilm is a great product. I have bought a fujifilm camera before and have been pleased with their products. I wish the zoom was more then what it is. Great product at the right price!!!

Good camera, not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price I paid on Thursday before Black Friday the camera is a good buy. Not crazy about the controls as they can be clunky and aren't nearly as intuitive as my previous two Fuji cameras with similar design. Photo quality is good though I mainly use it at the body shop to take photos of damaged vehicles. Macro shots are slower to acquire as the camera isn't as good in low light as my old F10 (with visible focus beam) and F20. I'm glad Fuji dumped their proprietary storage card for the more standard SD type. Good move as I have quite a few of those. Shutter delay is an issue as well. Flash works but is small and short range. Camera is small so for bigger hands (like mine) make sure you have it strapped around the wrist. Outdoors and in good light the camera performs well. Unfortunately most of my shots are indoors and the flash helps. However the previous versions had 640x480 option which was good for emailing small photos. The file size was always under 100K. The smallest I can make this camera go is between 600-900K file sizes. I have to resize files frequently to keep the emails small. Overall a good budget camera and if your pictures are mostly outdoors or in well lit areas you'll love the camera.

Great camera alittle complicated
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would buy it again. I wish I came with a memory card. The pictures are very good for an everyday camera

Basic cam for a throw-away price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you've ever needed a camera that will take good pictures in the hands of someone who should only have disposable cameras, this is the one to buy. It's easy enough to use and does take reasonable pictures (though you may not like the color profile) and has reasonable battery life.

Q: QuestionHow do I delete the time date from photographs on my Fuji F650?
Asked by shira87154.
- A:Answer menu > set-up > Date Stamp (off) (pg 6 of set-up) That will turn off date stamp. But you'd have to use some type of photo editor to remove it from a picture that was already taken.
